The trommel screen is used to lessen contaminants sent to the fiber saver (PFS) by filtering rejects from the pulper. It has a perforated stainless steel drum with progressively smaller holes that rotates to separate coarse contaminants from accepted fiber material. The accepted fiber is then returned to the pulper while contaminants are rejected. The trommel screen has an easy installation process and components like the drum, chute, and structure are made of stainless steel and other corrosion resistant materials to withstand pulp and paper processes.

2. The main function of the Trommel Screen is to lessen
the contaminant load on Fiber Saver (PFS). The light
rejects normally directed to Trommel Screen. It is built
with special heavy duty perforated drum with hole size
ascending order and aided by the suitable shower inside
& outside allowing the recovery of fibers. The coarse
contaminants are getting rejected and accepted material
is returned to the Pulper.
