8. Design Features for Vertical Execution
01. Rugged casing design and full structure support gives low vibrations.
02. Motor stool & frame support for Motor allow even distribution of loads to
foundation.
03. Casted foot under suction and discharge gives fixed support to pump casing
and takes care of forces during start and stop
04. Pump has thrust bearing at DE side and shaft at bottom side is supported by
self water lubricated journal bearing made of Thordon. Hence, no need of ball
bearing and sealing of shaft at NDE side. This reduces cost of maintenance.
05. No requirement of extra spacer shaft in turn reduces overall cost and
maintenance.
06. Vertical execution enables compact Pump house design & saves overall
project cost
