The principal of CET School of Management, Dr. Arun Surendran, delivered a keynote on innovation management to MBA freshers. Afterward, a panel of entrepreneurs from Young Indians fielded questions from students. The event discussed the Trinity model of faculty entrepreneurship and product development. It was chaired by Dr. Suresh Subramaniam, director of CET School of Management. The Students' council meeting at Trinity College of Engineering was chaired by Vice Principal Dr. Mary Metilda Rose. Various suggestions about improving the college environment and activities were provided by students. Trinity College of Engineering is hosting an interschool freedom quiz on August 15 for high school and higher secondary students

The Chairman Dr. Thomas Alexander addressed the students and staff at Trinity College of Engineering. He congratulated the volleyball team on their victory and assured placements for high-achieving students. He urged students to acquire industry skills and distributed certificates to students who completed NT spoken tutorials. Trinity College of Engineering also signed an MoU with Kalasilingam University to conduct faculty development programs to enhance learning. A face painting competition was won by students from the houses Pumaz, Pantherz, and Cheetaz.

Babar Maqbool Khan organized a lesson on road safety and traffic education for students at Faisal Public School in Multan, Pakistan. Students were assigned tasks to raise awareness of traffic rules, such as cleaning roads, making a zebra crossing, and creating sign charts and pamphlets. A traffic instructor then visited the school and explained traffic rules to the students. Students demonstrated their work and distributed pamphlets to people on a nearby road, who were surprised and appreciated the initiative. Khan observed that this was an example of social entrepreneurship, as the students recognized a social problem and created a venture to promote social change through non-profit means.

Mr. Jeetendra Tiwari, a national memory record holder, discussed techniques for memorizing information for long periods. Both seminars were interactive and addressed students' questions about various exams. Students requested that similar seminars be held regularly to keep them informed about changing exam patterns. Mementos were presented to the speakers at the end.

He congratulated students on their results, especially top performers, and appreciated increased professionalism. As the CEO of Al Adrak in Oman, he said Trinity students can be recruited for various engineering projects each year. A student then discussed augmented and virtual reality technologies. The objective of this paper is to report a case study of smart dairy farming in Ontario, Canada which is the future of food production and ways that advancements related to the Internet of Things (IoT). It is impacting upon agricultural practice in the form of smart farming. Smart farming is the practice of intelligent agricultural management based upon technological data gathering farm practice for the purpose of increased levels of quality, production, and environmental protection. This paper will illustrate one example whereby partnerships among the academic world, government agencies and local food producing communities in Canada are adapting innovative thinking and smart technologies to address the need to implement the more effective agricultural practice. Food From Thought is a Canadian research project, based upon high-tech information systems to produce enough food for a growing human population while sustaining the Earth’s ecosystems. The paper will outline how one dairy farmer in Ontario has been able to apply smart farming technologies to increase milk production while maintaining the health of his cattle and preserving the environment. The review of applications of smart farming in Ontario such as digital tracking for a cow, genomic testing, digitally signaled birth, sensor driven crop management and data driven dairy production also details in this article.

An HR meeting was organized at Trinity College by Suprajiv Bangalore. Close to a dozen HR representatives from industry participated in the round table discussion. They highlighted the lack of workplace training in current engineering curriculum and that engineering students were applying for non-engineering jobs. The representatives were given a tour of Trinity facilities including the IEDC and companies on campus. An entrepreneurship programme was also organized by HURUN Report India where eleven speakers from various sectors shared their experiences as entrepreneurs. Some women speakers shared experiences of discrimination they faced and how they overcame difficulties to succeed.

Trinity College of Engineering hosted students from Mar Baselios Engineering College to discuss their home automation project with faculty. Trinity faculty and students also successfully presented a project on transportation for the deaf at a disability studies proposal review meeting. Additionally, the principal conducted training on team building and innovation for employees of the Employee State Insurance Corporation from five South Indian states.

Bhadrapriya, an S7 ECE student at Trinity College of Engineering, was shortlisted for the Young Innovators Program by KDISC out of 2000 applications. She attended a one-day entry level camp on September 29th at Marian Engineering College. Four Trinity students, Jessica, Soniya, Arunima and Anand from S5, attended a one-day workshop on human error management organized by the Indian Society for Technical Education. The sixth faculty meeting was held on September 29th at the college auditorium, chaired by the Principal and Vice Principal, to discuss test results, internal audits, and department meetings. An HR meeting was organized at Trinity College by Suprajiv Bangalore. Close to a dozen HR representatives from industry participated in the round table discussion. They highlighted the lack of workplace training in current engineering curriculum and that engineering students were applying for non-engineering jobs. The representatives were given a tour of Trinity facilities including the IEDC and companies on campus. An entrepreneurship programme was also organized by HURUN Report India where eleven speakers from various sectors shared their experiences as entrepreneurs. Some women speakers shared experiences of discrimination they faced and how they overcame difficulties to succeed.

Thirty-two students from Myanmar began a two-year program at AIT on June 27, 2014 supported by a scholarship from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At an orientation for the students, Norwegian representatives congratulated the students and emphasized that they should work hard to develop their home country of Myanmar. AIT's interim president reiterated the institute's commitment to providing quality education and supporting regional development.

An arts committee meeting was held on January 4th, 2018 at Trinity College of Engineering to finalize dates for upcoming arts and literary events. Selected faculty and staff from all departments attended. A 10-day job orientation program for students of VHSS Paraniyam started on January 3rd, 2017, organized by the EEE department of Trinity College of Engineering. Classes and workshops are being conducted by assistant professors and a lab instructor from 10am to 3pm daily.

A 6th standard student from Christ Nagar School attended a Robo class with Letmac Innovations and learned how to build an 'Obstacle Detection Robot'. The Chairman and MD of Technolodge visited Robo class. The directors of campus companies attended a startup meeting with advisors from Trinity College of Engineering. Vice Principal Dr. Mary Mettilda Rose distributed certificates to winners of competitions held as part of Energy Conservation Month celebrations.
