There is a move towards more social and context-aware applications. - Emerging technologies allow for more interaction and sharing of information through social networks and user-generated content. However, this raises issues regarding security, privacy, and data mining. - While new technologies provide opportunities, their impact and benefits are not experienced equally across society. The future changes brought about by ICT are unevenly distributed.
