Navy Scholarship Program Manager Nov 2012 – Present
Managed 450 applicants a year and led a team of 11 district representatives to ensure qualified competitive
applicants reached the board. Identified production shortfalls in key areas and developed plan to correct prospecting
and production shortfalls from previous 3 years. Implementation of the plan took Recruiting district from being in
the bottomnationally to number 3 the first year after implementation and number 1 in the nation the following year
culminating with an over a 50% higher rate of selection of board eligible applicants.
Equal opportunity Manager Jun 2014 – Present
Employment Equal Opportunity manger who monitors 240 employees to ensure policies are followed. Led team of
18 employees in analyzing climate surveys ofcommand to ensure equal opportunity policies were adhered to.
Project managed 2 climate assessments encompassing over268 surveys and identified minor discrepancies that were
corrected to increase commands moral significantly and increased trust in upper management by employees.
Aircraft Division Chief Dec 2011 – Oct 2012
Senior manager of 5 production work centers with over 70 employees developed training plan and performed all
performance evaluations and submitted all award recognitions for over 40 employees . During 11 month tenure
implemented training plan to correction qualification deficiencies. Achieved 75% increase in basic qualifications
and 100% increase in qualified maintenance inspectors and quality assurance inspectors assigned to the production
work centers. This directly contributed to the 100% mission sortie completion rate ensure ground troops had fully
operational aircraft to ensure their safety.
Maintenance Control Chief Jun 2011 – Dec 2012
Production manager for all maintenance and operation evolutions on 4 aircraft worth $68,000,000 each. Assigned
priorities for all maintenance and flight operations involving 9 production work center encompassing 80 employees
on that shift. Program managed 250 personnelon a remote detachment to Fallon, NV. Procured transportation,
support services,living accommodations and duty assignment for an intense 5 week training evolution. Developed a
plan, delegated responsibilities and executed mission with no incidents of alcohol involvement and achieved all
requirements of training during the evolution.
Line Division Chief Dec 2009 – Dec 2011
Senior manager of the most junior and inexperienced work centers with 45 employees. During 24 month tenure
implemented training plan to correction qualification deficiencies. Achieved 135% reduction in time to get qualified
in basic qualifications and 100% increase in qualified inspectors assigned to the work centers. Reduced rotation
time of employees by 300% and increasing squadron plane captain qualifications.
