The North continued to be quite medieval or Gothic in styles, while the South (chiefly Italy), relied heavily on its Classical (Greek and Roman) past. The North will come to admire and to use the nude only with Albrecht Duerer, a major German artist of the late-fifteenth and early-sixteenth centuries. For this assignment, you are going to use your skills of research and imagination. Time travel has been invented, and you have the opportunity to visit any significant art historical site from the Renaissance - Baroque period. Imagine this trip and answer the following questions:
Where would you choose to go and why? (This could be a location, like Saint Peter's Basilica, or a city, like Florence, or a specific artist's studio).
Imagine what it would be like to tour this location. Include at least three images that would illustrate your journey. (Ex: front of the Sistine Chapel, the ceiling, and the altar).
Who would be your tour guide? The artist? The patron? Someone else? (Ex: If you go to Florence, maybe one of the Medicis would be your guide).
How would your tour guide introduce him/herself? (This is where some biographical research should come in handy).

The term Renaissance means a renewal or a rebirth--in this context of the styles and ideas of the Greek and Roman (Classical) past. While both areas continued to use Christian themes, the style, or the manner in which the images are put together and presented to the viewer, differed substantially from North to South. The North continued to be quite medieval or Gothic in styles, while the South (chiefly Italy), relied heavily on its Classical (Greek and Roman) past. During this period, you will see that the human figure, especially the nude, in an echo of the Classical past, appears again in Italy. The North will come to admire and to use the nude only with Albrecht Duerer, a major German artist of the late-fifteenth and early-sixteenth centuries. He will be the first Northern artist to participate in the developing humanist and classical interests of Italy. It is with this artist that the North enters into the "spirit" and the subject matter of the Italian form of the Renaissance.
Describe the development of the Northern Renaissance images with respect to the use of very detailed, ordinary objects symbolic of religious ideas. Contrast that with the Classicism of the Italian works.

The benefit for a big business that's established is that they can keep customers up to date with the business, new ideas, and ask for feedback. With one click, depending on the amount of followers, that message can reach millions and millions of people. It can wok for a business that's just stating out as well but they would of course need other resources as well. One can post different messages letting all customers or potential customers know why they're company is the best company, why should one convert to them, and other reasons why ones company is the best way to go. With using the mobile, a small computer is in the palm of ones hand.

When talking about mobile computing, I think that it has changed the way businesses run and conduct their day to day activity. For instance, many jobs now have the option to let you work from home some if not most days of the week. Years ago, this was something that was almost never done. Why are we able to do it today? Because of mobile computing. Even in my position in Human Resources, I had a few appointments yesterday and was able to work from home. My email is on my phone, and I have a fax machine and scanner at home, I went to my appointments in the morning, and then went home and did everything at home that I would have been able to do at my office. It is very nice being able to not use your vacation time for things like that, and still get everything done in the day that you would have gotten done in the office.

I completely agree, Mallory. I feel that the question is racial because some people are born with different races including Black, White, Hispanic, and even a mixed race. Taking advantage of who they are going to hire is very wrong in so many levels, and I believe it is against the law as well because it does count against one person trying to get a job that they can do.

Background Information
Planet Earth’s surface is over 70% water, but less than 1% of the water on Earth is considered accessible, usable freshwater for sustaining humans’ and other organisms’ lives. Of the accessible freshwater, approximately 99% is located in aquifers, natural underground water chambers, and other groundwater sources. Unfortunately, humans are depleting the aquifers faster than they can be recharged by the hydrological cycle. Therefore, three quarters of groundwater is considered nonrenewable.
Conditions
The main reason we using groundwater resources mainly for drinking and irrigation. As a result, this not only decreases an important source of freshwater—it also can cause pollution of that groundwater by saltwater intrusion. The recharge rate of groundwater is further hindered by land clearing and deforestation caused by human development. When land is cleared for human development, more flooding occurs, the
transpiration rate
(the amount of water that evaporates into the atmosphere from plants) is reduced, and rainwater is inhibited from adequately
percolating
(penetrating the soil) into the ground to allow for aquifers and groundwater to be recharged.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

- 1. Travel Journal to Points of Interest from the Early Middle Ages, Romanesque, and Gothic Worlds Travel, whether it was to the Middle East to fight in the Crusades or on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, was an activity that shaped the Middle Ages. For this assignment, put yourself in the place of a person living during Middle Ages who traveled throughout Europe. Select a total of six representative pieces of art or architecture that date from this period in history. You should have 2 examples from each of the time periods in the Middle Ages : two examples from the Early Middle ages, two that represent the Romanesque, and two that represent Gothic art. Each example should reflect the essential characteristics of its time period. Your objects need to date between 400 CE and 1300 CE—the time span that encompasses the Early Middle Ages, Romanesque, and Gothic periods. When you return from your travels, prepare a journal that includes the following information for each of your six representative works of art: A photograph of the object Identifying information: Name of the artist (if available)

Title of the work Date of the work Medium/materials used to create the work Then, write a paragraph of 4-6 sentences that: Describes the visual characteristics that makes the object representative of its style Places the work within its social and historical context and explains why it is culturally significant Finally, in a well-developed paragraph of 6-8 sentences, summarize what you have learned from your travels, highlighting key similarities and distinctions between the six objects you selected for discussion.
