Transaction Authentication using Face and OTP Verification

In face authentication system we authenticate a user using one's face and OTP received through mobile communication services this is a two layered authentication system where first the face of the user is verified using traditional face structure authentication then when the authentication process is complete the service provider will send a onetime password to the user mobile number which has to be entered to complete the process. suitable strategy for face recognition because it identifies
variability between human faces, which may not be
immediately obvious. Principal Component Analysis
(hereafter PCA) does not attempt to categorise faces using
familiar geometrical differences, such as nose length or
eyebrow width. Instead, a set of human faces is analysed
using PCA to determine which 'variables' account for the
variance of faces. In face recognition, these variables are
called eigen faces because whenplottedtheydisplayaneerie
resemblance to human faces. Although PCA is used
extensively in statistical analysis, the pattern recognition
community started to use PCA for classification only
relatively recently. As described by Johnson and Wichern
(1992), 'principal component analysis is concerned with
explaining the variance- covariance structure through a few
linear combinations of the original variables.'PerhapsPCA's
greatest strengths are in its ability for data reduction and
interpretation. For example a 100x100 pixel area containing
a face can be very accurately represented by just 40 eigen
values. Each eigen value describes the magnitude of each
eigen face in each image. Furthermore, all interpretation(i.e.
recognition) operations can now be done using just the 40
eigen values to represent a face instead of the manipulating
the 10000 values contained in a 100x100 image. Not only is
this computationally less demanding but the fact that the
recognition information of several thousand.

The Graphical User Interface (GUI) system is developed by using MATLAB R2015a software. This project also includes the development of standalone program for this system. The main purpose of GUI development is to get the value of real end points and real-branch points of a overlapped fingerprint image. The value of this point is used in fingerprint image matching process to identify the owner of an overlapped fingerprint image. The image enhancement consists of several process such as histogram equalization process, enhancement by Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) factor, and image binarization while minutiae extraction consist of ridge thinning process, region of interest (ROI) extraction, and minutiae extraction process. All processes should be done one by one.

lead to unauthorized use of one’s own smartphone. T

two level user identification scheme to recognize a

authenticate the mobile phone based on the device h
olding and usage patterns. To validate the proposed
scheme, an application is created which takes a ges
ture input characterized by time of swiping the scr

finger pressure, phone movements and location of sw
ipe on the screen through X and Y co-ordinate. A
threshold based matching scheme performs classifica
tion to find the true owner. Results show that the
scheme was able to achieve 90% true positives and 1
0% false positives with a 0.5% of battery usage.

attackers, theft and misuse is at the forefront of any organization’s mind. Even though today several data
security techniques are available to protect database and computing infrastructure, many such as network
security and firewalls tools are unable to prevent attacks from insider. Insider is a person working in
organization who can try to access the sensitive data. This paper proposes a two-way authentication method
which fuses knowledge-based secret and personal trait information.

The use of fingerprints in a voting system for registration and authentication
application has its limitations. Among these limitations are mismatches caused by
disparity in fingerprint trait and templates of voters taken at the point of registration
and at the point of authentication (voter’s accreditation). Manual labour, aging,
variations in user interaction (i.e. pressure on the scanner), environmental changes
and injuries are a few of the factors that can cause these disparities. The iris is more
resistant to these factors that cause disparity in biometrics. In this designed model, the
iris was used in place of fingerprints as the biometric measure to register and
authenticate voters. An iris scanner obtains the voter’s iris image, segments and
digitizes it. The digitized iris image of the voter is used as a training data and stored
in the template. This template is stored together with the voter’s particulars in a
database. An algorithm design using the C# (C sharp) language issues a PIN for the
voter’s authentication. At the point of authentication, the PIN of the voter is keyed in.
The iris scanner obtains the voter’s iris image, generates a template of the iris and
with the aid of the system’s embedded algorithm, compares the details of the voter’s
pin and iris trait with the one in the database for a match. A match grants the voter
the pass to vote. A mismatch denies the voter access to the voting system. This
implemented Iris Recognition Technology drastically reduces the chances of
mismatches for genuine voters and denies imposters in the voting system due to its
reliability and robustness as revealed by the tests carried out on the designed model.

Citizen identification in Malaysia is managed by JabatanPendaftaran Negara (JPN); a Malaysian Government Agency responsible in producing a national identification card called MyKad which contains textual information of the MyKad holder as well as fingerprint data. The current business modal solely relies on fingerprint identification as recognition process which presents limitations to Malaysian citizens who have finger disabilities. Currently, this matter is addressed by having applicants provide proof of identification which is then verified by the agency within three months. To improve efficiency of this process as well as making it friendlier for applicants to apply their MyKad, the use of facial recognition is proposed as a potential solution. A series of study was conducted with JPN, which intends to measure the reliability of a multimodal biometrics system in JPN environment for finger-disabled applicants. Findings demonstrate that Multimodal Biometrics System using Facial Recognition is reliable for individual identification.

permission is usually taking personal identification numbers (PIN) for authentication. Through this paper, this old method is
being exhausted by introducing a combination of embedded 3 layered bio-metric molding to setup an ATM simulator. Finger print
scanner, retina scanner followed by the onetime password (OTP) will help the user for smart and secured tractions. It will
reduced the duplication and makes the ATM machine more secured compare to current version.

A Smart Receptionist Implementing Facial Recognition and Voice Interaction
The purpose of this research is to implement a smart receptionist system with facial recognition and voice interaction using deep learning. The facial recognition component is implemented using real time image processing techniques, and it can be used to learn new faces as well as detect and recognize existing faces. The first time a customer uses this system, it will take the person’s facial data to create a unique user facial model, and this model will be triggered if the person comes the second time. The recognition is done in real time and after which voice interaction will be applied. Voice interaction is used to provide a life-like human communication and improve user experience. Our proposed smart receptionist system could be integrated into the self check-in kiosks deployed in hospitals or smart buildings to streamline the user recognition process and provide customized user interactions. This system could also be used in smart home environment where smart cameras have been deployed and voice assistants are in place.

The use of fingerprints in a voting system for registration and authentication
application has its limitations. Among these limitations are mismatches caused by
disparity in fingerprint trait and templates of voters taken at the point of registration
and at the point of authentication (voter’s accreditation). Manual labour, aging,
variations in user interaction (i.e. pressure on the scanner), environmental changes
and injuries are a few of the factors that can cause these disparities. The iris is more
resistant to these factors that cause disparity in biometrics. In this designed model, the
iris was used in place of fingerprints as the biometric measure to register and
authenticate voters. An iris scanner obtains the voter’s iris image, segments and
digitizes it. The digitized iris image of the voter is used as a training data and stored
in the template. This template is stored together with the voter’s particulars in a
database. An algorithm design using the C# (C sharp) language issues a PIN for the
voter’s authentication. At the point of authentication, the PIN of the voter is keyed in.
The iris scanner obtains the voter’s iris image, generates a template of the iris and
with the aid of the system’s embedded algorithm, compares the details of the voter’s
pin and iris trait with the one in the database for a match. A match grants the voter
the pass to vote. A mismatch denies the voter access to the voting system. This
implemented Iris Recognition Technology drastically reduces the chances of
mismatches for genuine voters and denies imposters in the voting system due to its
reliability and robustness as revealed by the tests carried out on the designed model.

The use of mobile applications nowadays has been implemented in various fields. Especially in online transactions via smartphone devices, business people have decreased quite a lot because they provide benefits in transactions. Through the mobile application, businesses can process transactions anywhere and anytime. One security aspect regarding authentication is an important concern for consumer who use mobile devices. So far, most of the authentication is done by only using password security, but the level of security is still quite easy to bypass the security. A better level of authentication can be done by utilizing biometric technology into the application security system. Several studies that have been conducted still use unimodal biometric systems to provide good authentication guarantees. This investigation is carried out by research that can improve the authentication of the existing models by applying multimodal biometric authentication based on voice and face images. In voice biometric authentication, the method of MFCC Mel Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients and DTW Dynamic Time Warping will be used, while facial authentication will apply the PCA Principle Component Analysis method. The results obtained show that the user authentication success rate reaches 90 . Therefore, biometric multimodal security can begin to be used for security systems in electronic transactions via smartphone devices. Profile Identification through Face Recognition
This project is Profile identification through facial recognition system using machine learning, based on K neighbors algorithm. The K neighbours algorithm has high detection rate and fast processing time. Once the face is detected, feature extraction on the face is performed using histogram of oriented gradients which essentially stores the edges of the face as well as the directionality of those edges. Histogram of oriented gradients is an effective form of feature extraction due its high performance in normalizing local contrast. Lastly, training and classification of the facial databases is done where each unique face in the facial database is a class. We attempt to use this facial recognition system on two sets of databases and will analyse the results and then provide the profile of an individual which is written in the Data base created in Firebase. Smart devices are equipped with multiple authentication techniques and still remain prone to
attacks since all of these techniques require explicit user intervention. The purpose of this paper
is to capture the user behavior in order to use it as an implicit authentication technique.
In this paper, we introduce a novel authentication model to be used complementary to the
existing models; Particularly, the context of the user, the duration of usage of each application
and the occurrence time were examined and modeled using the cubic spline function as an
authentication technique. A software system composed of two software components has been
implemented on Android platform. Preliminary results show a 76% accuracy rate in determining
the rightful owner of the device.

This document proposes and evaluates methods for fusing 3D ear and face biometrics at the score level and feature level for personal authentication. Local 3D features are extracted from ear and face data and fused using root mean square distance matching at the feature level. At the score level, matching scores from ear and face modalities are fused using weighted sum rule techniques. Experiments on a database of 990 ear and face images from 60 individuals show that the multimodal biometrics systems using feature level or score level fusion techniques have lower equal error rates compared to unimodal ear or face systems alone, demonstrating improved performance from fusing the biometric modalities.
An Efficient Fingerprint Identification using Neural Network and BAT Algorithm
The uniqueness, firmness, public recognition, and its minimum risk of intrusion made fingerprint is an expansively used personal authentication metrics. Fingerprint technology is a biometric technique used to distinguish persons based on their physical traits. Fingerprint based authentication schemes are becoming increasingly common and usage of these in fingerprint security schemes, made an objective to the attackers. The repute of the fingerprint image controls the sturdiness of a fingerprint authentication system. We intend for an effective method for fingerprint classification with the help of soft computing methods. The proposed classification scheme is classified into three phases. The first phase is preprocessing in which the fingerprint images are enhanced by employing median filters. After noise removal histogram equalization is achieved for augmenting the images. The second stage is the feature Extraction phase in which numerous image features such as Area, SURF, holo entropy, and SIFT features are extracted. The final phase is classification using hybrid Neural for classification of fingerprint as fake or original. The neural network is unified with BAT algorithm for optimizing the weight factor.

The main advantage of this project is handling of data by using biometric system such as finger print and face recognition (is done by masking technique). This is used to ensure the security to avoid fake and repeating voting. It also enhances the accuracy and speed of the process. The system performs with perfect recognition on a face and thumb impression of all the eligible voters in a constituency, which is done as pre-polled procedure. During election, thumb impression and face templates of voters is given as an input to the system. This is then compared with the already stored database and available records. If the particular pattern matches with the record then the voters are allowed to vote but incase if it doesn’t match or in case of repetition, voters vote are denied or gets rejected. Face recognition system is very beneficial in real time applications, concentrated in security control systems. Face Detection and Recognition is a vital area in the province of validation. In this project, the Open CV based face recognition strategy has been proposed. This model integrates a camera that captures an input image, an algorithm Haar Cascade Algorithm for detecting face from an input image, identifying the face and marking the attendance in an excel sheet. The proposed system implements features such as detection of faces, extraction of the features, exposure of extracted features, analysis of students attendance, and monthly attendance report generation. Faces are recognized using advanced LBP using the database that contains images of students and is used to identify students using the captured image. Better precision is accomplished in results and the system takes into account the changes that occurs in the face over some time. Smart Door Access using Facial Recognition
This document summarizes a research paper that proposes a facial recognition system using a Raspberry Pi to unlock doors. It uses conventional techniques like Haar detection and PCA (principal component analysis). The system extracts features from faces and represents them as eigenfaces to encode facial identities. These eigenfaces are used as inputs to a neural network for facial classification and recognition. When a recognized face is detected, a servo motor will unlock the door automatically. If an unrecognized face is found, the system will notify an administrator. The goal is to create an efficient and affordable facial recognition access system as an alternative to keys or ID cards.

ONLINE FINGERPRINT VOTING SYSTEM
This document proposes a fingerprint-based online voting system to address issues with India's election process like rigging and fake voting. It involves developing a biometric voting machine prototype that uses fingerprint authentication to verify each voter's identity and ensure one person casts only one vote. The system would link to India's Aadhaar biometric database for automatic voter registration. It aims to make the voting process more secure, accurate and reduce the potential for invalid votes by leveraging fingerprint biometrics and remote online voting capabilities. Background and Objective Telehealth has become a well known tool for the delivery of health care in Saudi Arabia, and the perspective and knowledge of healthcare providers are influential in the implementation, adoption and advancement of the method. This systematic review was conducted to examine the current literature base regarding telehealth and the related healthcare professional perspective and knowledge in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Materials and Methods This systematic review was conducted by searching 7 databases including, MEDLINE, CINHAL, Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, PsycINFO, and ProQuest Central. Studies on healthcare practitioners telehealth knowledge and perspectives published in English in Saudi Arabia from 2000 to 2023 were included. Boland directed this comprehensive review. The researchers examined each connected study using the AXIS tool, which evaluates cross sectional systematic reviews. Narrative synthesis was used to summarise and convey the data. Results Out of 1840 search results, 10 studies were included. Positive outlook and limited knowledge among providers were seen across trials. Healthcare professionals like telehealth for its ability to improve quality, access, and delivery, save time and money, and be successful. Age, gender, occupation, and work experience also affect health workers knowledge. In Saudi Arabia, healthcare professionals face inadequate expert assistance, patient privacy, internet connection concerns, lack of training courses, lack of telehealth understanding, and high costs while performing telemedicine. Conclusions Healthcare practitioners telehealth perceptions and knowledge were examined in this systematic study. Its collection of concerned experts different personal attitudes and expertise would help enhance telehealths implementation in Saudi Arabia, develop its healthcare delivery alternative, and eliminate frequent problems. Online Voices, Offline Impact Ambedkars Ideals and Socio Political Inclusion ...
This research investigates the nexus between online discussions on Dr. B.R. Ambedkars ideals and their impact on social inclusion among college students in Gurugram, Haryana. Surveying 240 students from 12 government colleges, findings indicate that 65 actively engage in online discussions, with 80 demonstrating moderate to high awareness of Ambedkars ideals. Statistically significant correlations reveal that higher online engagement correlates with increased awareness p 0.05 and perceived social inclusion. Variations across colleges and a notable effect of college type on perceived social inclusion highlight the influence of contextual factors. Furthermore, the intersectional analysis underscores nuanced differences based on gender, caste, and socio economic status. This study investigated the impact of educational background and professional training on human rights awareness among secondary school teachers in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, India. The Role of Mentoring and Its Influence on the Effectiveness of the Teaching ...
This paper reports on a study which was conducted to investigate the role of mentoring and its influence on the effectiveness of the teaching of Physics in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. The study adopted the convergent parallel mixed methods design, focusing on respondents in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. Both quantitative and qualitative data were collected, analysed separately, and the results were compared to see if the findings confirm or disconfirm each other. The quantitative analysis found that majority of the respondents 72 of Physics teachers affirmed that they had more experienced colleagues as mentors to help build their confidence, improve their teaching, and help them improve their effectiveness and efficiency in guiding learners’ achievements. Only 28 of the respondents disagreed with these statements. With majority respondents 72 agreeing with the statements, it implies that in most secondary schools, experienced Physics teachers act as mentors to build teachers’ confidence in teaching and improving students’ learning. The interview qualitative data analysis summarized how secondary school Principals use meetings with mentors and mentees to promote mentorship in the school milieu. This has helped strengthen teachers’ classroom practices in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. With the results confirming each other, the study recommends that mentoring should focus on helping teachers employ social interactions and instructional practices feedback and clarity in teaching that have direct measurable impact on students’ learning achievements. This study primarily focuses on the design of a high side buck converter using an Arduino microcontroller. The converter is specifically intended for use in DC DC applications, particularly in standalone solar PV systems where the PV output voltage exceeds the load or battery voltage. To evaluate the performance of the converter, simulation experiments are conducted using Proteus Software. These simulations provide insights into the input and output voltages, currents, powers, and efficiency under different state of charge SoC conditions of a 12V,70Ah rechargeable lead acid battery. Additionally, the hardware design of the converter is implemented, and practical data is collected through operation, monitoring, and recording. By comparing the simulation results with the practical results, the efficiency and performance of the designed converter are assessed. The findings indicate that while the buck converter is suitable for practical use in standalone PV systems, its efficiency is compromised due to a lower output current. Energy becomes sustainable if it meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Some of the definitions of sustainable energy include the considerations of environmental aspects such as greenhouse gas emissions, social, and economic aspects such as energy poverty. Generally far more sustainable than fossil fuel are renewable energy sources such as wind, hydroelectric power, solar, and geothermal energy sources. Worthy of note is that some renewable energy projects, like the clearing of forests to produce biofuels, can cause severe environmental damage. The sustainability of nuclear power which is a low carbon source is highly debated because of concerns about radioactive waste, nuclear proliferation, and accidents. The switching from coal to natural gas has environmental benefits, including a lower climate impact, but could lead to delay in switching to more sustainable options. “Carbon capture and storage” can be built into power plants to remove the carbon dioxide CO2 emissions, but this technology is expensive and has rarely been implemented. Leading non renewable energy sources around the world is fossil fuels, coal, petroleum, and natural gas. Concepts for Sudan Survey Act Implementations Executive Regulations and Stand...
This paper aims to outline the executive regulations, survey standards, and specifications required for the implementation of the Sudan Survey Act, and for regulating and organizing all surveying work activities in Sudan. The act has been discussed for more than 5 years. The Land Survey Act was initiated by the Sudan Survey Authority and all official legislations were headed by the Sudan Ministry of Justice till it was issued in 2022. The paper presents conceptual guidelines to be used for the Survey Act implementation and to regulate the survey work practice, standardizing the field surveys, processing, quality control, procedures, and the processes related to survey work carried out by the stakeholders and relevant authorities in Sudan. The conceptual guidelines are meant to improve the quality and harmonization of geospatial data and to aid decision making processes as well as geospatial information systems. The established comprehensive executive regulations will govern and regulate the implementation of the Sudan Survey Geomatics Act in all surveying and mapping practices undertaken by the Sudan Survey Authority SSA and state local survey departments for public or private sector organizations. The targeted standards and specifications include the reference frame, projection, coordinate systems, and the guidelines and specifications that must be followed in the field of survey work, processes, and mapping products. In the last few decades, there has been a growing awareness of the importance of geomatics activities and measurements on the Earths surface in space and time, together with observing and mapping the changes. In such cases, data must be captured promptly, standardized, and obtained with more accuracy and specified in much detail. The paper will also highlight the current situation in Sudan, the degree to which survey standards are used, the problems encountered, and the errors that arise from not using the standards and survey specifications. Towards the Implementation of the Sudan Interpolated Geoid Model Khartoum Sta...
The discussions between ellipsoid and geoid have invoked many researchers during the recent decades, especially during the GNSS technology era, which had witnessed a great deal of development but still geoid undulation requires more investigations. To figure out a solution for Sudans local geoid, this research has tried to intake the possibility of determining the geoid model by following two approaches, gravimetric and geometrical geoid model determination, by making use of GNSS leveling benchmarks at Khartoum state. The Benchmarks are well distributed in the study area, in which, the horizontal coordinates and the height above the ellipsoid have been observed by GNSS while orthometric heights were carried out using precise leveling. The Global Geopotential Model GGM represented in EGM2008 has been exploited to figure out the geoid undulation at the benchmarks in the study area. This is followed by a fitting process, that has been done to suit the geoid undulation data which has been computed using GNSS leveling data and geoid undulation inspired by the EGM2008. Two geoid surfaces were created after the fitting process to ensure that they are identical and both of them could be counted for getting the same geoid undulation with an acceptable accuracy. In this respect, statistical operation played an important role in ensuring the consistency and integrity of the model by applying cross validation techniques splitting the data into training and testing datasets for building the geoid model and testing its eligibility. The geometrical solution for geoid undulation computation has been utilized by applying straightforward equations that facilitate the calculation of the geoid undulation directly through applying statistical techniques for the GNSS leveling data of the study area to get the common equation parameters values that could be utilized to calculate geoid undulation of any position in the study area within the claimed accuracy. Both systems were checked and proved eligible to be used within the study area with acceptable accuracy which may contribute to solving the geoid undulation problem in the Khartoum area, and be further generalized to determine the geoid model over the entire country, and this could be considered in the future, for regional and continental geoid model. Activating Geospatial Information for Sudans Sustainable Investment Map
Sudan is witnessing an acceleration in the processes of development and transformation in the performance of government institutions to raise the productivity and investment efficiency of the government sector. The development plans and investment opportunities have focused on achieving national goals in various sectors. This paper aims to illuminate the path to the future and provide geospatial data and information to develop the investment climate and environment for all sized businesses, and to bridge the development gap between the Sudan states. The Sudan Survey Authority SSA is the main advisor to the Sudan Government in conducting surveying, mappings, designing, and developing systems related to geospatial data and information. In recent years, SSA made a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Investment to activate Geospatial Information for Sudans Sustainable Investment and in particular, for the preparation and implementation of the Sudan investment map, based on the directives and objectives of the Ministry of Investment MI in Sudan. This paper comes within the framework of activating the efforts of the Ministry of Investment to develop technical investment services by applying techniques adopted by the Ministry and its strategic partners for advancing investment processes in the country. The COVID 19 pandemic has highlighted the crucial need of preventive measures, with widespread use of face masks being a key method for slowing the viruss spread. This research investigates face mask identification using deep learning as a technological solution to be reducing the risk of coronavirus transmission. The proposed method uses state of the art convolutional neural networks CNNs and transfer learning to automatically recognize persons who are not wearing masks in a variety of circumstances. We discuss how this strategy improves public health and safety by providing an efficient manner of enforcing mask wearing standards. This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the

So, to solve this problem we are adding facial verificationasanextra security layer after which the OTP verification will be done in a given time session, if not verified within that time session the whole transaction or the login will be terminated. As the transaction and the login process has facial verification the authentication process may get slow compared to normal OTP authentication but the security level will be way higher that a normal OTP authentication. Motivation: As mobile devices can be hacked in many waysandifanyone has access to our phone, they can easily initiatea transaction and authenticate it without our permission. Misuse of one’s phone by friends Mobile device highjacked by an attacker illegally Unlocked mobile device Existing system: Currently there is a use of simple OTP authentication before a transaction in which the transaction is authenticatedusing One Time Password. In this a OTP is generated from the One Time Password generator from the bank side, which is then send to the mobile device through SMS services which is then entered in transaction gateway to confirm the transaction. Proposed System: By using two-layer verification system we are trying to secure the user authenticity and increase the security as in normal verification which is in current use has only one lair of security. So, by implementing facial verification before OTP verification it confirms the identity of the person initiating the transaction. Architecture: This gateway will be triggered when the payment gateway will be called, when the payment is initiated the front facing camera of the phone will start capturing the face of the person initiating the transaction which will be verifiedusing the mobile database sample Algorithm: PRINCIPAL COMPONENT ANALYSIS (PCA) Principal Component Analysis (or Karhunen-Loeve expansion) is a IJTSRD30952

Principal Component Analysis (hereafter PCA) does not attempt to categorise faces using familiar geometrical differences, such as nose length or eyebrow width. Instead, a set of human faces is analysed using PCA to determine which 'variables' account for the variance of faces. In face recognition, these variables are called eigen faces because whenplottedtheydisplayaneerie resemblance to human faces. Although PCA is used extensively in statistical analysis, the pattern recognition community started to use PCA for classification only relatively recently. As described by Johnson and Wichern (1992), 'principal component analysis is concerned with explaining the variance- covariance structure through a few linear combinations of the original variables.'PerhapsPCA's greatest strengths are in its ability for data reduction and interpretation. For example a 100x100 pixel area containing a face can be very accurately represented by just 40 eigen values. Each eigen value describes the magnitude of each eigen face in each image. Furthermore, all interpretation(i.e. recognition) operations can now be done using just the 40 eigen values to represent a face instead of the manipulating the 10000 values contained in a 100x100 image.
