LCT
4
Orientation:The LCT is a
member of Fiberhome network
management system family.It is
designed in complince with the OSI
standard issued by ISO.In the
TMN(Telecommunication
Management Network)model,it is in
the NEL(Network Element Layer)
Application Scenarios:Support
handling emergency maintenance
tasks on the existing network when
the equipment is offline or
inconvenient to login on the EMS
client. Helps monitor and identify
problems by querying alarms,
performance, equipment
configuration and other information.

Difference between Client and LCT
5
OTNM2000 Client:The subnet-level element management system that
supports complete configuration,performance,alarm security,and service
management function. It is used to configure and monitor the NEs in the
network topology.
LCT:The local craft terminal that supports basic performance, alarm and other
management functions. It is used for maintenance and commissioning of the
local equipment, and serves as a supplementary measure for the
OTNM2000's monitoring of the equipment.

ADMIN: Full authority of OTNM2000,all OTNM2000 function can be used
by ADMIN user account
MONITOR:Partly authority of OTNM2000,only Performance and Alarm Check
can be used by MONITOR user account;user account in this group
only can check alarm,performance
OTNM2000 offers different kinds of user authority, mainly ADMIN and MONITOR authority

Alarm Level
52
The level of an alarm
indicates the degreeof
severity,inportance and
urgency of an alarm
The alarm can be
classified into four
leverls by the OTNM2000
The following introduces the product positioning, features and configuration requirements of the OTNM2000. The OTNM2000 is a type of software researched and developed by FiberHome to effectively manage multiple types of FiberHome transmission devices on the same platform.
The OTNM2000 consists of the data collection module, data processing module and GUI management module.
The data collection module collects the alarm and performance data of managed objects. The data processing module analyzes and processes the collected data and then stores the data in the database. The data processing module also provides support for alarm management, performance management, configuration management, security management, service management and event management
of the GUI management module.
The GUI management module consists of the configuration management module (Devcfg) and interface management module (OTNM2000).
Configuration management module: a program used by the EMS to configure devices and the system operating environment. The Devcfg is mainly used for data backup and restoration.
Interface management module: Indicates the main interface program of the OTNM2000. It provides the alarm management, performance management, configuration management, security management, service management and event management functions.

Network users must be based on actual situation using the configuration management module (Devcfg) to configure network , and to save configuration in the data database, so we could use the management interface module to (OTNM2000) realize all management functions, according to the configuration data.
