1) According to Islamic teachings, when a person dies and is buried, they will experience physical and psychological torments in their grave until the Day of Judgment.
2) The dead will be interrogated by two angels regarding their faith, and beaten by a massive hammer if the answers are wrong, feeling physical pain despite being deceased.
3) They will be attacked by snakes and dragons, and the grave will tighten around them, crushing their bones. Specific punishments are described for those who were unclean or gossiped.
4) Three ways to potentially avoid these torments are: dying on a Friday, from stomach illness, or as a martyr in jihad. However,
TRUTH
PREVAILS
The Ahmadiyya Anjuman Ishaat-i-Islam, Lahore, has recently published a
book, TRUTH TRIUMPHS, by Al-Hajj Mumtaz Ahmad Faruqi, S.K., B.Sc,
E.E., which also brings into discussion points under dispute between the two
Sections of the Ahmadiyya Movement, with dirty personal attacks on Hazrat
Khalifatul Masih II, Muslih Mau’ud, which embody a shocking violation of the
Islamic sense of decency and morals, in social intercourse between human
beings. THE TRUTH PREVAILS comprises a sober and serious reply from our
side.
We hope and trust this reply would enable the reader to grasp the true
nature of the differences between the two Sections, and the background in
which these differences have their roots
Title of the book under reference is (THE) TRUTH TRIUMPHS. It is
directed against us, the Qadian (now Rabwah) Section. Of course, the truth
always triumphs. But the victory claimed by the Lahore section, against
Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II, will be obvious from a perusal of the following:
1. After his acceptance of the Khilafat of Hazrat Maulvi Nuruddin, for six
years, Maulvi Mohammad Ali made an astounding discovery. He said no
Khalifa was needed to hold membership of the Movement together, or to
control and direct the activities of the Movement. Immediately before the
death of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih I, he had a leaflet printed. But he kept it
secret, nicely packed up into bundles, ready for dispatch to various addresses
at the opportune moment. The title of this leaflet was A VERY IMPORTANT
ANNOUNCEMENT. Its purport, and purpose, was that the institution of
Khilafat was not needed in the affairs of the Movement, since the guidance
and control of the Anjuman was enough, for all possible purposes. He
conceded, however, that from deference for the last Will and Testament of
Hazrat Khalifatul Masih I, and for accepting
bai’at
(pledge of loyalty) from
those wanting to join the Movement, an Amir could be appointed. He should
have no authority over the Anjuman or the general body of the Movement.
His functions and duties should be precisely limited and conditional. The aim
of the leaflet was to arouse a general feeling to cultivate a view that the
membership of the Movement should not allow itself to be persuaded that an
elected Khalifa with an overall supreme authority in the affairs of the
Movement was essential, altogether indispensable.

In this book, the writer, Sheikh ‘Abdul-Khaliq Ash-Sharif attempted to outline the biography of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The simple biography of the Prophet is a dedication to the Prophet, peace be upon him

Succession to the Prophet…The murder of `Uthman and the quest for justice…The Battle of the Camel…Ahl al-Bayt…Caliphs and Imams…Moderation and extremism…
This book is far more than a biography, as it discusses major issues that have their origins in the early decades of Islam, the repercussions of which are still felt today. In this book, Dr. Sallabi guides the reader through a myriad of hadiths and reports, peeling away the centuries-old layer of fabrications and distortions through which hostile elements both in the Muslim world and beyond sought to conceal the truth. What emerges is a clear picture of the first great turmoil that engulfed the Muslim world and how the noble Companions of the Prophet and the members of his family worked together to resolve these momentous issues, following the guidance and teaching brought by the Messenger of Allah.
The true battle for hearts and minds is that which is raging in the Muslim world today, where many vested interests are seeking to distort the very self-image of the Muslims. It is high time for us to reclaim our history and to stop letting others tell it for us. This book is of great importance as it sets the record straight on a period of our history that is of major significance. Every Muslim who cares about the big issues faced by Islam and Muslims should read this book.
Dr. Ali M. Sallabi is famous for his detailed books of history and biography that bring the past to life for modern readers. Dr. Sallabi was born in Libya in 1383 H/1963 CE, and earned a bachelor’s degree at the Islamic University of Madinah, graduating first in his class. He completed his master’s and doctorate degrees at Omdurman Islamic University in Sudan.

The End Of Control and the Future of Content: Futurist Gerd Leonhard Authors@...Gerd Leonhard
When every song, every movie, every book and every image can easily be found and shared via high-speed digital networks, and any actual control of the flow of content becomes a thing of the past, how will content creators and their respective industries generate growing revenues, in the future? When search becomes media, and advertising becomes content, what's the future of creativity? Which precise new generatives (>Kevin Kelly) can be nurtured to build this new ecosystem of search, content and communications, based on access to content rather than copies?

The book of “The Second Coming of Christ; the return of Jesus Christ”
This book is exquisitely new. It is strange but true: about things that are not said, informed by the events that are happening around us, and facts that are beyond dispute.
Actually when you start reading this book you will not be able to leave it without coming to the last page of it having a very precise, new, logic and Divine knowledge. It is as true as the life in you is.
You find in this piece of new knowledge many issues which prescribe the reality in abstract style having brought it into minds as vivid facts:
What is the wrong with the life of high technologies? Do you believe that this contemporary technologies are the main source of misery of our life?!
Why do people abandon God and where Do they direct their destination into?
What is God’s purpose of the afflictions and difficulties which He has driven to people and nations?
What are the reasons behind the destruction of the old nations?
Do you think that the whole world is coming to the same fate of the old destructed nations?
What is the last resort of escaping from this horrible end?
What is the real meaning of the Hour which is mentioned in the Divine texts? Is it the Doomsday or the hour of ruining events which will overwhelm most of the whole world?
What are its indications and what is the real actual meaning of each one of them?
Is Master Jesus the Messiah going to come once again, what are the evidences of his close blessing coming to this world and where is he now?
Blessed are those who are born in his close coming time. Why?
Is master Jesus the redeemer? What is the real meaning of “the redeemer”?
Most of religions’ scholars say Master Adam committed a sin ? Do you think that our great father did that ? what is the real fact beyond that?
Is there any way to save yourself during this difficult time? How could you rescue yourself from the horrible and destructing events of the Hour?
The way of attaining belief and true faith.
There are many other fascinating facts and realities of the events that we are contemporary with and which are coming soon as the Divine texts have informed us.
The Raj'ah - the Return (Shi'i theology and eschatology)Amina Inloes
Twelver Shi'i books contain the unique prediction about the resurrection of some of the dead before the end of time. This belief is known as the raj'ah, or the return. This PowerPoint explores that belief in the Qur'an and hadith, and the vast range of views on what the raj'ah might mean. Please note that I strongly recommend that this presentation be delivered by someone with a strong familiarity with the subject, insofar that there is a wide range of views on all of the narrations on this subject, and it can be a sensitive subject. In my view, it is one that is often misrepresented as well. Nonetheless, I'm uploading it as a resource.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

1. The Torments of the Grave
The doctrine that drives thousands of Muslims to despair.
The following account represents Sunni Islam’s standard teachings
of after-death experiences.
As the pallbearers carry the body to the grave, its soul follows behind crying, “Woe
to me! where are they taking me?”
Bukhari (arabic) # 1253 صحيح البخارى
كان النبي صلى ال عليه وسلم يقول إذا وضعت الجنازة فاحتملها الرجال على أعناقهم فإن كانت صالحة قالت

Bukhari :: Book 2 :: Volume 23 :: Hadith 400
Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri :
Allah's Apostle said, When the funeral is ready and the men carry it on their
shoulders, if the deceased was righteous it will say, 'Present me (hurriedly),' and if
he was not righteous, it will say, 'Woe to it (me)! Where are they taking it (me)?' Its
voice is heard by everything except man and if he heard it he would fall
unconscious."

While these questions appear deceptively easy to answer, and thus even the most
nominal Muslim should be able to pass this ghoulish inquisition unscathed, the
reason Muslims fear failing the test may be associated with Islam’s infamous

Allah confirms those who believe with the sure word in this world's life and in the
hereafter, and Allah causes the unjust to go astray, and Allah does what He pleases.
http://www.thequran.com/Read/Verse/14/27/27/2
Muslim scholars have interpreted this verse as revolving around the angels’ interrogation
and the ability of the dead — or rather, Allah’s desire for them — to answer right or
wrong. If he answers Allah, Islam, and Muhammad, respectively, he is granted paradise.
If not, the torments begin.
