TOEFL!
• TOEFL: Evaluates the ability of an individual to use and
  understand English in an academic setting. Sometimes it is
  an admission requirement for non-native English speakers
  at many English-speaking colleges and universities.
  Additionally, institutions such as government agencies,
  licensing bodies, businesses, or scholarship programs may
  require this test
• Test Provider (ETS):Educational Testing Service
• Validity: A TOEFL score is valid for two years and then will
  no longer be officially reported since a candidate's
  language proficiency could have significantly changed since
  the date of the test. Colleges and universities usually
  consider only the most recent TOEFL score.

TOEFL iBT test
1. Reading Section

This section tests your ability to understand reading
 passages like those of in college text books; it
 consists of three long passages each is about 700
 words in length, after each passage you will answer
 12-14 questions.
60 minutes is provided to read and answer all the
 passages and questions; most questions worth one
 point but the last ones usually worth more than 1
 point.

2. Listening Section

This sections tests your ability to
 understand spoken English that is typical
 of interactions and academic speech on
 college campuses, during the test you will
 respond to conversations and lectures;
 after each listening passage you will
 answer 5-6 questions about it. You have
 25-30 minutes to answer all the
 questions.

Speaking
• This section tests your ability to communicate
  in English in an academic setting. During the
  test you will be presented with six speaking
  questions including, a conversation, a talk, or
  a lecture. You can take notes as you
  listen, some of the questions ask for a
  response to a reading passage and a talk or a
  lecture, the reading passages and the
  questions are written.

• Question 1 and 2 asks you to speak about a
  personal experience, general topic , preference
  between two opinions.
• Questions 3 and 4 prompt you to read a text and
  then listen to a short talk. You have to use and
  combine the information from both the text and
  the talk to complete you r answer.
• Questions 5 and 6 requires to listen to part of a
  conversation or a lecture, you must then answer
  a question about it. 20 seconds to prepare and 60
  seconds to answer.
Speaking
Evaluation: Your speaking will be evaluated on
  both fluency of the language and the accuracy
  of the content.
 The time for the speaking section is about 20
  minutes including preparation time and
  speaking time.

Writing Section
• This section tests your ability to write essays in
   English to those that would write in college
   courses.
• During the test you will write two essays:
-Integrated essay: it asks for your response to an
   academic reading passage and a lecture on the
   same topic. You may take notes as you read and
   listen; next the lecture will be spoken, the
   directions will be written though, ;you have 20
   minutes to plan, write and revise your response,
   150-225 words.
