find a meeting near you. Complete this task using only the web-
site’s navi- gation.
• You recently saw a Toastmasters door banner hanging at the last
meeting, and are interested in purchasing one for yourself. Deter-
mine where you would go to purchase the door banner, and after
finding it, proceed to purchase the item as far as you feel comfort-
able.
Introduction I plan to conduct my usability tests at the Leffel Lane campus.
“This is not a test of you, it is a test of the website to get an idea of how
a user will use it. In order for me to get an idea of how a user will use it,
you will have to speak out loud as much as possible. There are no right

Was able to determine where the 2014 Interna- tional Convention link
was located, but was not able to find a way back to the homepage to
continue looking for a meeting, due to the changes in the navigation.

Was able to determine to go to the shop and locate the door banner,
however she was not able to identify where to purchase the door ban-
ner until finally realizing that you had to first sign up, which brought us
back to the first task. She also stated that she didn’t notice a price for
the door banner.

Didn’t like the fact that the navigation changes as you change pages.
Any other observations you would like to share?
Noticed that she had not seen a price listed on the door banner. This
was something which I had not even considered myself.

She thought is seemed like an interesting website, but wouldn’t use it
because she believed it was difficult to use.
