Tirol is a region in Austria with around 705,000 inhabitants located between Italy and Germany, known for its mountainous landscape and skiing. Some key facts about Tirol are that Innsbruck is the capital city, Ötzi the Iceman was discovered there in 1991, and the region is famous for its traditional food, clothing, music and home to the Swarowski crystal company.
