- 1. Make outlines or draw diagrams for yourself in subjects such as History or Philosophy if you want to have your notes clear. Take notes and underline in different colours the most important things To be more organised you can learn computer filing systems. When you are in class pay attention to your teacher because her/his body language and facial expressions are essential to understand what she/he is saying. 5. Visual learners tend to be disturbed so when you try to study find a quiet place to do it. 6. To memorise texts try to visualise them. 7. Use your own blackboard to draw useful information that you have learned in class so that you won’t forget it. 8. You tend to disconnect when the teacher is speaking so try to participate in class discussions to force yourself to take part of it. 9. Get good text books with clear and useful information to increase your visual learning ability 10. Look for good web pages in which you can watch videos related to your class lessons and you will be able to improve your results. For example a useful page is Khan Academy. 11. Use flash cards to write and memorise vocabulary whose meaning you don’t know.
