4. There are two hands on a clock . One is a
minute hand and the other is the hour
hand.

5. The number 6 is half way
round the clock so when
the long minute hand is
on the 6 it is half past the
hour.
The number 3 is a quarter
of the way round the
clock so when the long
minute hand is on the 3 it
is quarter past the hour.

6. The number 9 is 3
quarters of the way
round the clock so
when the long minute
hand is on the 9 it is
quarter to the hour.
The number 12 is 1 hole
of the clock so when
the long minute hand is
on the 12 it is the hour.

7. DITIGAL

8. This time says half past 12.
The minutes tell you how many minutes past it
is.

9. This clock says 58
minuets past 12
o’clock . This is the
same as 2 minutes
to 1 o‘clock.

10. What time does this
clock say?
Answer:
41 mins past 2

11. Draw the hands on the
clock on a white board.

12. What times do
they say?
2 o ‘ cock 3 o’clock
30 minutes past 2 30 minutes past 3
