• They are usually characterised by fast pacing, frequent action and hero's and villains.
• Can over lap with mystery stories but are distinguished by the structure of the plot.
• Thrillers are influenced by tragedy and sometimes the hero dies along the way.
• Tracking and pan shots are commonly used within a the camera movement of a thriller.
• They also consist of a lot of zooming in and out mainly to catch the expressions of someone’s face when the action is taking
place.

The James Bond image they are looking down on the subject in a high angle shot this is done
to make him look vulnerable, however because he has the phallic symbol of the gun in his
hand it also make him look powerful, more so than if he was empty handed. Another example
of a shot type is Brad Pitt thing use a close up, this shows us his emotions. From his emotions
we can infer that he is angry, but also very sad, he also looks torn like he could have an
attachment to the person he is going to shot and doesn’t know whether he can do it. You can
infer so many didn’t things from a close some an be correct and some not very much. This is
why it is done though so it add enigma so you want to find out why, what, how, when, who is
going on in the scene. In the image of Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt they are looking up at
the subjects using a low angle shot this makes them look powerful and it makes them appear
taller than they actually are suggesting there importance.
