- 3. How many times have you got with your buddies and started talking
about a game that you guys have played. You guys go through the pros
and cons you found in the game and because you played a decent amount
you can keep up. But then there's that instant where your buddies go
through their favorite moments and when it's your turn to speak, you blurt
out “Oh, I haven't beat it”. If you're like me many times probably.
That's the point tho, I don't think we can give a well informed, intelligent,
final opinion of the game without finishing it. Who knows what me missed
by not finishing. Maybe that confusing rpg storyline all came together in the
end, or maybe there's a heartfelt lesson we could learn, or , as in the case
of Bioshock Infinite for me, your mind can be blown away with philosophy,
religion, and science. With witnessing that our opinions would probably
change. Love them or hate them, that's why game reviewers for magazines
and websites are allowed to give whatever score they deem appropriate.
They at least finished the game.
Better Storytelling.
I remember just being mentally and emotionally in awe, after I beat Red
Dead Redemption and Bioshock Infinite. And thinking of how they dealt
with moral and ethical problems and questions that rival those of movies
and books.
