Sunset Overdrive is an open world third person shooter developed by Insomniac Games that emphasizes fun over deep story or online multiplayer. The game takes place in an open world city overrun by zombies after an energy drink turns the population. Players traverse the city by grinding, swinging, and hopping to build combos while shooting enemies. Though the story is unremarkable, the gameplay of fluid movement and customizable weapons keeps the game enjoyable. While there is little replay value after completing the main game, Sunset Overdrive provides a fun experience for fans of the developer's past games like Ratchet & Clank.
