Three groups lived near each other in a river valley: the Onverdra, Nomadán, and Anhem. The Nomadán settled near the Onverdra but were not welcomed due to cultural differences. Tensions rose and a battle occurred, after which the Nomadán fled further downriver. They found the Anhem, a seafaring people more accepting of change, and settled near them. Though initially wary, the Anhem and Nomadán became close friends by sharing their cultures.
