Recently retired from The Carpenters Union after 30 years. Spent the majority of that time as a Construction
Superintendent, where I responsible for managing a number of multi-million dollar projects.
Experience
The position of Superintendent required skills that will be useful in other career opportunities.
* Supervise own workforce and subcontractors to work safely, efficiently, and together.
* Interact with owner reps.,architects, engineers, and construction managers.
* Prepare and keep a schedule, longterm and weekly.
* Maintain budget.
* Ability to assess daily problems and solve them.
* Ability to follow plans and specifications.
* Ability to work under pressure.
Accomplishments
Finished top of my graduating class at the Carpenter's Apprenticeship School.
All projects I supervised finished on time and budget.
