I am an outgoing, hardworking and conscientious person who is very reliable
and loyal. I enjoy new challenges and working as part of a team but I am very
capable of using my own initiative. I have excellent understanding of
customer needs and pride myself in putting customer’s ideas into functional
reality.
Easy going by nature and able to communicate well with all customers,
work colleagues and senior managers, I am about to finish my third year at
Southampton Solent university, studying a BSc in architectural technology
and looking to further my career more towards the science and design
aspects of construction.

Worked with Paton Developments in my four months university holidays
and Christmas holidays to gain experience in the hotel, commercial and
leisure market. I was chosen to represent the company in berlin for 10 days.

I joined IL Beeks as a Carpentry Apprentice, and since qualifying in 2007 I
have progressed to a fully qualified Senior Carpenter. I have worked on a
variety of exciting projects across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
Main Achievements:
• Head carpenter on a refurbishment job of factories into offices
• Head carpenter on a secondary school job which had set deadlines
and completed on time

Personal Achievements
I spent seven months travelling around Australia
and East Asia visiting countries like Cambodia,
Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia and Indonesia
experiencing all types of cultures and different
settings. The trip opened my eyes to being totally
independent and self-sufficient.
While in Australia I managed to do white water
rafting and also skydive from 15,000 feet, these are
two of biggest achievements and experiences in my
life so far.
