Introduction
• Students in NWSSU-San Jorge Campus, residing in remote
areas and the Poblacion area, where the former has a slow
internet connection and the latter has immediate access to the
internet, somehow affect their academic performances.
• Dabaj and Yetkin (2011) mention that the challenges of hybrid
learning become even more difficult when learners are
geographically isolated. They added that this further complicates
the outcomes of the learning process for tertiary-level learners.

Introduction
• Hybrid learning, specifically, online classes hindered students from
remote areas to go along with the online classes because of the
internet connectivity. Other student brands of smartphones and sim
cards are also included in the factors that hinder them from efficient
online classes.
• The results of this study will give school administrators a perspective
on how students adapt from online learning curriculum. Lastly, this
paper can also serve as a related study or literature for future
researchers who are planning to explore the same topic.

Methodology
A correlational research is a quantitative method
of research in which you have two or more
quantitative variables from the same groups of
subjects. This design will be used since the
main purpose of this study is to determine which
domain has greatly affected during the online
classes.
To gauge the data needed
for this study, a quantitative—
descriptive correlation design
will be employed.
