This document discusses thermal conversion technologies for waste including pyrolysis from 450-2000°C, gasification from 450-3500°C, and incineration at 1200°C. Pyrolysis of waste produces 38% char, 43% oil, and 5% strong gas as primary products. The technologies allow for material recovery through processes like activation, extraction, refining, separation and synthesis. Energy can also be recovered through uses of the gas turbine, engine, and steam boiler to generate power, steam, and produce secondary refined products such as chemicals, hydrogen, ammonia, fuels and activated carbon.
