The process journal is a diary that students must keep throughout a technology project to analyze their work. It contains all rough work, thoughts, ideas, photographs, sketches, and anything else related to what was done in the studio. Entries should include the date, what was done, any changes to plans, next steps, feelings, areas of interaction and learner profiles involved. Maintaining a process journal allows students to reflect on their work and progress through each stage of the design cycle.
