their preciouslife just becauseof other faults.

another Hiroshima and Nagasakiafter bombing.

2. World Most Major Industrial Catastrophic
OPPAU EXPLOSION,GERMANY
Thisincident took placein 21 September 1921in BASF chemical plant,
approximately 4,500 tonnes of a mixtureofammonium sulfateand
ammonium nitratefertilizer stored, got exploded and morethan 600
people died and 4000 people got injury. Industrialinvestigationreport said
incident tookplace becauseof not maintaining industrialsafetymeasures.

3. THE DISASTER OF COURRIÈRES(FRANCE)
March 10th, 1906 is the dateof the worst mining accidentever happened in
Europe: in the French town of Courrièresan explosionof the local coal
minecaused the death of 1099 people. One of the hypothesized causes
was the ignitionofmethanefor the presence of a naked flame. Thisincident

4. THE EXPLOSION OF BENXIHU COLLIERY (CHINA)
On April 26th, 1942, in thecoal mine of Benxi, China, an explosion of gas
and coalpowders caused the death of 1549 miners. Only few were killed

6. THE DEEPWATER HORIZON OIL DISASTER
The worst environmentaldisaster in Americanhistory: onApril20th, 2010,
the Deepwater Horizon oil platform, part of the British Petroleum
group, was drilling the MacondoProspect offthe Louisiana coast. An
explosion on the platform killed 11 people while 17 were injured. The
consequent oil spill lastedfor 106 days, bearing seriousconsequences
for marinelife and local population’shealth. BP cost is in excess of 62
billion dollars.

7. THE CHERNOBYL DISASTER (UKRAINE)
The last industrialaccident welist is the most famousone. On April26th,
1986, a humanerror (together with structuralproblemsofthe system)
caused a series of explosions insidethe Chernobyl nuclear power plant that
destroyed the reactor and annexed buildings, causing therelease of a
radioactivecloud. 43 workers died immediately, about 125,000 people
were killed inthe following years by cancer or other illnesses caused by
radiationexposure, thousandsofUkrainianswereforced to move.
Chernobyl is also themost expensive industrialaccidentever, as its total
economic impact isestimated in about 200 billion dollars.

Industriesarethe mainsourcefor employee generation, without industry

providejobs to everyone, it should be go through a different mode of
