2. WHAT IS WARM UP?
• It’s a series of physical activities that you do to
increase your intensity. It’s important to do
warm up because doing it you avoid injures,
you get better results and you increase your
force and speed.
3. PARTS OF THE WARM UP
• The warm up has two important and
different parts, they are: The joint
mobility and the activation.
• The two of them are very different but
the objective is the same.
4. THE JOINT MOBILITY.
• The joint mobility consists in a serie of
movements of your body to your joints to be
prepare for the activities you are going to do
then.
• A joint is the location at which two or more
bones make contact. They are constructed to
allow movement and provide mechanical
support, and are classified structurally and
functionally.
6. THE ACTIVATION.
• The activation consists in physical activities
you do before do an exercise that you have to
do an effort. It’s important to do it because if
you do it you get hot and there is less
percentage to have an injure.
• The activation consists in exercises like:
Running, jump, sprint, lateral step and running
backwords.
7. GAMES FOR WARM UP.
Some games for warm up can be:
- “Gavilan”: One person stays in the middle of the
court, when this person says: “Gavilan” the other
people must pass from one side of the middle to
the other without been catched.
- - Another game is that one person must catch
another when he catches the other person they
must take their hands and catch another person
and when they are 4 people they separate in
partners.
