3. Who Are the Walking Dead?
• Everyone who is living in sin is spiritually
dead yet walking! Ephesians 2:1, 5;
Romans 6:11, 23; 8:2
• These dead are walking under the power
(influence) of the devil! Ephesians 2:2-3;
1 John 3:8; 5:19
• Only those who are not living in sin are
alive in Christ! Romans 7:9; 6:1-2, 13

4. Zombie survival list
• Be spiritually fit! Eph. 6:10
• Communication!
– w/ God and survivors. Eph. 6:18
• Head protection! Eph. 6:17
• Upper body – breastplate… Eph. 6:14
• Lower – feet… Eph. 6:15
• Complete coverage. 2 Cor. 6:7; Eph. 6:14
• Weapon! Sword of the Spirit… Eph. 6:17
• Have a heart to help them!

– Jesus wants you dead from sin and alive to

6. How to tell that you’re a zombie
• Your life is consumed by sin. Col. 2:13
• You’re self-indulgent!

• You speak but don’t do!
Jas. 2:17, 26, 12
• You look alive, but
you’re dead! Revelation 3:1
• You never really loved the truth!

7. You don’t have to be a
dead man walking!
• Jesus wants you to be alive from the
spiritually dead! John 10:10
• “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that
sleepest, and arise from the dead, and
Christ shall give thee light” (Eph.5:14).
• Come to Jesus and have eternal life! Jn. 3:16
– Be saved by hearing and believing the gospel.

– Confess Christ. Acts 8:37
– Be Baptized into Christ.
