This document provides guidelines for the supporting sections of a dissertation which include the bibliography, appendices, and glossary. It discusses how to properly format a bibliography according to MLA or APA style with all necessary information about sources. Appendices contain supplemental material not essential to the main text, and each must begin on a new page. A glossary is an alphabetized list of specialized terms defined in one's own words. Key terms should be in alphabetical order and acronyms/abbreviations expanded with references. Definitions should be concise and avoid restating the term.
