2. Who are we?
• We are college students who work directly with RE-volv, a non-
profit organization based in San Francisco, California.
• This is a fellowship program that allows for us to learn about
solar energy, get involved with renewable energy and help non-
profits in our local community do the same thing.

3. RE-volv and Their Mission
• RE-volv envisions a world where people are thriving in their
clean energy powered communities.
• Their mission is to provide the affordable opportunity for other
non-profit organizations to switch to solar and save money on
their electricity bills which they can then use to continue to give
back to their communities.

4. Financing and the Revolving Solar Seed
Fund
Non-profits who decide to go solar through
RE-volv sign a lease agreement in which
over the course of twenty years they
typically only end up paying for half of the
solar system yet own it outright after the
end of the twenty-year lease.
RE-volv is able to fund the rest of the total
costs of the solar system, installation, and
maintenance through crowdfunding and
the Revolving Solar Seed Fund.

5. Our Involvement
• RE-volv works with numerous solar ambassador teams at various
universities and colleges to bring solar opportunities to other non-profits
throughout the country.
• We as solar ambassadors connect with organizations in our own
communities to present the opportunity to go solar through RE-volv.
• We also host or participate in events to help educate the community about
solar energy.

6. Past Projects –
VFW's
• We have two completed projects
under our belts at both the VFW in
Little River and the VFW in
Murrells Inlet.
• Both were able to offset their
energy costs enough to cover the
lease payment and still be
saving money, with no upfront
costs for the solar system.
