A few hours spent researching before your interview can impress the hiring manager in
realty. Read the company's annual report (often posted on the site), review the employee's
LinkedIn profiles, and search the company on Google News, to see if they've been
mentioned in the media lately. The more you know about a company, the more you'll know
how you'll fit in to it.
Research

When meeting someone for the first time, we instantaneously make our minds about
various aspects of their personality.
Prepare and plan that first impression long before you walk in the door. Continue that
excellent impression in the days following, and that job could be yours.
• Never arrive late.
• Use positive body language
• Switch off your mobile before you step into the room.
• Look fabulous; dress sharp and make sure you look your best.
• Start the interview with a handshake or greating
• Determine to establish a rapport with the interviewer right from
the start.
• Always let the interviewer finish speaking before giving your response.
• Express yourself fluently with clarity and precision.
First Impression

contents.
If interviewer ask you:

Overcome the Fear

• Plan out a wardrobe that fits the organization and its
culture, striving for the most professional appearance
you can accomplish.
• Remember that it's always better to be overdressed
than under and to wear clothing that fits and is clean
and pressed.
• Keep accessories and jewelry to a minimum.
• Try not to smoke or eat right before the interview and
if possible, brush your teeth or use mouthwash.
Dress for Success

There is no excuse for ever arriving late for an interview other than some sort of
disaster. Strive to arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled interview to complete
additional paperwork and allow yourself time to get settled. Arriving a bit early is also a
chance to observe the dynamics of the workplace.
Be Punctual

Every one loves stories, So its always better to make some relevant stories to answer the
interview questions.
Be a Story Teller with Examples

Do not leave the interview without ensuring that you know all that you want to know about
the position. Once the interview is over, your chance to have important questions answered
has ended. Asking questions also can show that you are interested in the job. Be specific
with your questions. Ask about the company and the industry. Avoid asking personal
questions of the interviewer and avoid asking questions pertaining to politics, religion and
the like.

I have an extremely strong work ethic. When I'm working on a project, I don't want just to meet
deadlines. Rather, I prefer to complete the project well ahead of schedule. Last year, I even earned a
bonus for completing my three most recent reports one week ahead of time.
I am a skilled salesman with over ten years of experience. I have exceeded my sales goals every quarter
and I've earned a bonus each year since I started with my current employer.
I pride myself on my customer service skills and my ability to resolve what could be difficult situations.
With five years of experience as a customer service associate, I have learned to effectively understand
and resolve customer issues. On a related note, I also have strong communication skills, which helps me
work well with customers, team members, and executives. I am known for being an effective team
member with a talent for giving presentations.

Examples of the Best Answers:
• When I'm working on a project, I don't want just to meet deadlines. Rather, I prefer to complete the
project well ahead of schedule.
• Being organized wasn't my strongest point, but I implemented a time management system that really
helped my organization skills.
• I like to make sure that my work is perfect, so I tend to perhaps spend a little too much time checking
it. However, I've come to a good balance by setting up a system to ensure everything is done
correctly the first time.
