Respiratory SystemSystem that brings oxygen into our body. It contains 7 main parts. Gets rid carbon dioxide.
LungsContains  little air sacs called alveoli.We have two lungs, left and the right.The left lung has an indent  to leave space for the heart
LarynxA.K.A  the “Adam’s Apple”Is on top of the windpipe.Has cartilage you can feel on your throat.
TracheaTakes air to the lungs.It has cartilage to keep it open.Under the Larynx.
DiaphragmThe main breathing muscle.Expands when the lungs contract.Makes air go in the lungs.
BronchusA tree looking thing inside the lungsIt takes air to the bottom of the lungsLocated in both lungs.
BronchiolesThe branch of the Bronchus.Divide until something called “Terminal Bronchioles.”Asthmatic bronchioles are different from normal bronchioles
AlveolusTiny air sacs at the end of the bronchioles.They look like tiny grapes hanging from the vine. This is where gas exchange happens.
