   Tesco price: 72p (around 1$)
The £21 loaf of bread
  (The telegraph, 2010/06/09)
That‟s it? $1 to $30?
What is the real value of bread?

And how to make most of it?
Let‟s dive in and find out!
Let‟s go back in time

What was the value of bread in
         the past?
“panem et circenses”

  Juvenal, Roman poet
In ancient Rome, panem et
circences (bread and circuses)
was a key creating approval of
          the masses.
So give them this and …
…some bread and they will vote
         for you…
Huge value, right!
Religions also often use(d) bread
as a symbol to transfer their
            message.
To sum that up: empires and
religions are partly build on
            bread!
So now, what to do now?!
A loaf of bread
can save lives.
How-to-guide
Idea number 1
Buy one, Donate one

Donate the price of the bread you
bought, we are sure you feel
better and also add value for your
              bread!
Every time you eat a bread, just think of giving one to
another person. It might save lives!
Idea number 2
A Gift of Breads for Little Buddies
Xmas „Food‟ Tree for Little Garden
            Friends
*Mouldy breads can poison and kill
        your little friends.
Well-treat Recipe: Breads + peanut butter + birdseeds.

          Sharing is Caring 
Idea number 3
SHARE−IT FOWARD

  BREAD−IT FOWARD
STARTING WITH OUR LOAF OF
         BREAD…

             value…

else who can do who NEEDS it
              the same

Idea number 4
A LOAF OF BREAD

So Basic, So Plain! So Alone!
Now let‟s add ants.
Right, ants!
This adds a lot of value for the
Also is a free biology class for your
                kids!
Ludi incipiant, let the games begin
Which team will win the Ants
    Bread Olympics?
You might film it and go viral on
        the internet with it…
•This has been done with gourds, etc. But take a loaf of bread, seal it with
polyurethane, paint it and sell it as an art object? Money going to help the
poor and needy. The common object can become an art piece.

•Create a movement called "BREAD HEADS", create doll-like characters
carved out of bread and sealed (if that can be done) with something and
create an army of "BREAD HEADS". Bringing monetary value and creative.

•Create an interactive map of videos showing native breads all over the
world, especially because bread is something that all people from the
beginning of creating bread shared together. The video could show how the
bread is made, how people use it, eat it. The value is that people can see
different people all over the world sharing something in common.
Add your own touch and
     creativity!
Thanks for watching
