YTH Live's Monday morning plenary launched with an introduction to human-centered design by IDEO.org and the power of design in the youth-health sector both in the US and globally. IDEO.org designs products, services, and experiences to improve the lives of people in poor and vulnerable communities. They practice human-centered design, a creative approach to problem solving that starts with people and arrives at new solutions tailored to meet their lives. We heard about their work and successes. IDEO is also the common group that has worked closely with both A360 and InnovationNext and provides the foundational theory and practice on human-centered design that’s at the crux of both these programs.
