Once you have conducted your market research, it is not enough to .docxhopeaustin33688
Once you have conducted your market research, it is not enough to analyze and interpret the data. Often you will be expected to formally present your findings. Other times you will be expected to present your proposals for market research. While this class does not go into great detail about presentations, there are some fundamental principles that you should study and practice for the the real world. These principles were reviewed in last week's meet session and this week's readings.
You will use the following scenario to complete this assignment:
Kevin McKee is the chief marketing officer of Broadcorp Communication and is your boss. Broadcorp specializes in wireless, phone, mobile, internet and satellite services, including TV. Broadcorp offers internet at several levels of bandwidth, the best of which is quite fast. The company has a number of market strongholds. However, in an effort to increase market share, one of Broadcorp's competitors has offered a new level of bandwidth to customers in these market strongholds. The competitor's offer is very good up front--higher bandwidth than the best that Broadcorp offers and at a lower price than Broadcorp's top Internet package. Kevin McKee doesn't feel that the competitor can sustain the deal it is offering but thinks that Broadcorp should find out their customers' opinions about the services they are currently receiving. Such research, if done right, would help Broadcorp know if they should make any changes and exactly what those would be. You have been tasked to come up with a proposal for research that would help Broadcorp answer the questions it has about this situation.
Here is the scenario
1. Read and review the readings and suggestions for making effective presentations.
2. Read the scenario above and create a presentation wherein you do the following:
· identify an effective research question for this scenario and justify your thinking
· describe the research that would be required to answer the question; identify the methodology or methodologies and method or methods you would use; justify your choices
· describe the data that you would need to be satisfied that the question is answered
3. Create your marketing research presentation within the following parameters:

For this assignment, you will prepare a traditional outline of your final paper. Because it will serve as the plan of the entire argument, you will need to include full sentences for your argument (the thesis and three topic sentences). For the evidence, please include only phrases, followed by the source citations, with page numbers where available.
Spending the requisite amount of time on the outline will have two important benefits:
· It will give me the best opportunity to evaluate the plan for your argument and to help point you in the right direction; and

1. Write a 1-2 page (single spaced, 11 pt font) narrative/discussion for the organism you identified in this project.(see below) This narrative describing your fictional future patient should focus on the medical relevance of each organism, such as virulence factors and the type of infections caused, treatments provided and patient outcome. you MUST use in-line citations for this portion.
Identified organism: Enterobacter aerogenes
2. Including a Cover Page, and provide a bibliography that you reference in your in-text citations. Citations MUST be in either APA or MLA format. You need a minimum of five references for the organism you choose to write about. Only ONE of them can be your book OR Wikipedia. Use peer-reviewed scientific articles for your other four articles (A publication that contains original articles that have been written by scientists and evaluated for technical and scientific quality and correctness by other experts in the same field).
The Discussion:
You are a healthcare worker, working in your chosen profession! Congratulations! You did it!!! BUT.......one of your patients has become infected with the type of organism that you have identified in this project (Enterobacter aerogenes). Describe the symptoms they exhibit. What tests did you (or the doctor) do to determine what organism it was? What medications or therapy did the patient receive? What was the outcome of their illness? Use the library reference databases (or library) to research your organism and use in-text citations to illustrate how you used your research in your narrative.

Outline Sample 111ArgumentOutlineSample.docx 111ArgumentOutlineSample.docx - Alternative Formats (opens in new window)
· It will give me the best opportunity to evaluate the plan for your argument and to help point you in the right direction; and
· Once you have revised your outline according to my suggestions, you will be able to write your rough draft quickly and easily because you have done all the hard work when preparing the outline.
Follow exactly thtline format posted below.

An excel spread sheet is posted in the folder with this word document which is a rubric outlining the basis of my grading/evaluation of your paper. It complements and adds to this document's guidance with specific details. I am happy to review any of your draft work and provide comment up until the week prior to submission. Papers will be no fewer than 6 and no more than 8 pages in length not including the cover page and bibliography. Your paper is a Critical Thinking Essay (this is a hyperlink to an article that describes an approach to writing a critical thinking essay and what it is).
Your paper is a proposal for an Amendment to the United States Constitution. It may be either a revision to current "law of the land" (which is the U.S. Constitution) or an entirely new proposal. It can replace or revise either existing amendment(s) to the Constitution or the main body of the Constitution. Either way, you must be absolutely clear about what your proposal will do and convince the reader to agree with your proposal. Your explanation of your proposal must be precise in what words will be removed from the Constitution, or its Amendments, and what words will be added AND where. It is not easy to amend the Constitution-for good reason. There is more than one means for a proposed amendment to be ratified. Your proposal and critical thinking must take this into account. Your argument(s) must be supported with documented evidence.
The substance of your paper must address each of the following:
1. What words will be removed from the Constitution, or its Amendments, and what words will be added AND where.
2. Rationale for why you propose the Amendment. What problem do you want to remedy or fix and how does your proposal fix it?
3. Why does it require a Constitutional Amendment and not some lesser means such as legislation?
4. Of the several methods of ratification which one do you suggest is the best approach and why?
5. How does your Amendment transcend ideals of any political party? Why should both Democrats and Republicans support it?
6. How does your amendment support or adhere to the Constitutional ideals of balance of power and separation of powers between the branches of government and between the national/federal and state/local governments?
7. What is your strategy to use the media, political parties, interest groups and(or) state legislatures to win over Americans to fast track your proposal to ratification?
Papers must be appropriately and correctly do.

The Advocacy Project: A Multi-modal Composition
Like the HCP Project, the main assignment here is a multi-modal composition that uses various rhetorical positions and different types of evidence to make arguments. This one, however, is a bit different from the first in that over the course of these next few weeks, as you research and evaluate various sources, and as you draft, craft and organize your thoughts and evidence, you will at some point have to make a decision to become an advocate for solutions to your central problem in at least one of the following three ways: 1) you might advocate for one or more specific solutions to the significant and current political/social/cultural problem that sits at the center of your focus; 2) you might locate the next steps to potentially solving your project’s central problem; or, 3) you might argue for why the current solutions do not work and leave your readers with questions about possible next steps. In other words, your arguments for advocating solutions in combination with the analytical reasons you provide for why you have chosen to focus on particular solutions will after weeks and weeks of diligent engagement become a richly-textured thesis statement, one that deepens your articulation of the problem at hand and argues for convincing for ways to move forward.
When we think of the act of advocating and when we imagine a person or an organization who is an advocate for a cause, we think of strongly held opinions delivered with intensity from a rhetorical position that appears unshakable, deeply confident in the ethical rightness of its arguments and the accuracy of its knowledge. If we look at advocacy in such ways, we can understand why it takes time to become a convincing advocate, and that advocacy, even when it is delivered in the form of a thesis-driven composition, is a form of argumentation that can be quite different from the balanced arguments we often think of as academic writing even if it is as rigorous in its presentation of evidence.
This is not to say that academic writers are not advocates. They are, and over the course of this project, you will become such an advocate—one who uses academic research and methods to deliver persuasive arguments convincingly to a public of one’s peers. Academic writers in many disciplines often write with the purpose of advocating for solutions to political/social/cultural/environmental problems. When they do so, they are expected to consider and present positions that run against theirs in various ways – call them counter arguments – in order to meet the expectations of their academic audience. They must demonstrate their mastery of established arguments and knowledge in areas of discourse and recognize the legitimacy of other perspectives, even if the author seeks ultimately to dismiss them.

Monsters are not just the fictional creatures that live in swamps and under beds. Sometimes
monsters are real. Furthermore, what some consider to be a monster may or may not be seen as
monstrous to everyone. For this assignment you will need to think about how the media depicts
individuals. Find someone (politician, athlete, actor, etc.) who you believe to be a “good” person
and explain how the media has misrepresented this individual as monstrous, deviant, evil, etc.
OR you can choose someone who you believe is a real-life monster and explain how the media
has misrepresented this person as heroic, important, moral, etc. Explain what the media has said
about this person, and why you think this depiction is inaccurate or unfair. Your purpose is to set
the record straight about this person.
You will need to choose at least three sources from the media (newspaper, TV, radio, podcasts,
political cartoons, etc.) to use as examples of how this person has been represented to the public.
Each source should be a different genre (do not choose sources that are all the same kind of text).
You should choose sources that are contemporary (from the last 20 years or so). You may need to
use more than the three required texts in order to provide evidence to disprove the media's
general opinion of this person.
Proposal:
Your proposal is an opportunity for you to clearly and concisely state what you will argue in your
essay. You must use the future verb tense “I WILL argue,” to show that these are ideas you plan
on exploring further in your essay. State what others have said about this person; you may or
may not want to name your naysayers. Then explain what your argument about this person is and
how it differs from the depiction that the media has displayed. Typed, MLA format, 300 words.
Annotated Bibliography:
For this assignment you will need to do research on your individual and create an annotated
bibliography. Form a few research questions that will guide your search; consider what you
already know and what you do not know about this person. What are some of the viewpoints that
different media sources have about this person? You will choose three sources of any kind (radio,

Civil Liberties, Habeas Corpus, and the War on Terror
The final assignment for this course is a Final Paper. The purpose of the Final Paper is to give you an opportunity to apply much of what you have learned about American national government to an examination of civil liberties in the context of the war on terror. The Final Paper represents 20% of the overall course grade.
Soon after the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, the Bush administration developed a plan for holding and interrogating captured prisoners. They were sent to a prison inside a U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay, on land leased from the government of Cuba. Since 2002, over 700 men have been detained at Gitmo. Most have been released without charges or turned over to other governments. In 2011, Congress specifically prohibited the expenditure of funds to transfer Gitmo prisoners to detention facilities in the continental United States, making it virtually impossible to try them in civilian courts. As of April 2012, 169 remained in detention at Gitmo (Sutton, 2012).
An assumption made by the Bush administration in selecting this location was that it was beyond the jurisdiction of U.S. courts. The administration wanted to avoid any judicial oversight of how it handled detainees, characterized as enemy combatants. A possible legal challenge to indefinite detention with no formal charges or judicial proceedings might arise from the habeas corpus provision of the Constitution.
Article I, Section 9 of the Constitution states, "The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it." Under this provision, persons detained by the government are entitled to a judicial hearing to determine if there is any legal basis for their detention. Some legal commentators refer to the right of habeas corpus as the "great writ of liberty" because it is a prisoner's ultimate recourse to an impartial judge who can review the possibility that he is being held illegally by the executive (e.g., the police o.

Some legal commentators refer to the right of habeas corpus as the "great writ of liberty" because it is a prisoner's ultimate recourse to an impartial judge who can review the possibility that he is being held illegally by the executive (e.g., the police or the military). In nations that do not honor habeas corpus, people simply disappear into prisons without ever having their day in court.
Several controversial Supreme Court cases have come out of Gitmo. One fundamental question that has been debated, but not clearly resolved, is to what extent the war on terror justifies the President's indefinite detention of enemy combatants without the possibility of the minimal judicial review protected by habeas corpus? Another issue in the debate is to what extent Congress must clearly authorize the President to conduct extra-judicial detentions in order for them to be legal? In 2008, the Supreme Court’s decision in
Boumediene v. Bush
offered some answers to these questions. However, the deeply divided 5-4 Court and the likelihood of the protracted nature of the war on terror suggest that debate around these important quest.

However, the deeply divided 5-4 Court and the likelihood of the protracted nature of the war on terror suggest that debate around these important questions will continue. Writing the Fi.

Assume that you are an adviser at HITECH Ltd, which is analysing the introduction of a new game console named NEUROFORCE. This system can be connected with human brain functions and still very much controversial for claimed but yet to be confirmed adverse impacts on human behaviour after prolonged application. Health conscious groups are also lobbying against introduction of such games with probable detrimental effects.
The project manager of HITECH Ltd needs a detail analysis on this exciting NEUROFORCE project. She comes into your office, drops a consultant’s report on your desk, and complains, “We paid these consultants $1 million for this report, and I am not sure their financial analysis makes sense, though their estimations seem to be correct. Before we spend $30 million on
buying new equipment needed for this project, look it over and give me your opinion.” You open the report and find the following information and estimates:
The project will continue for next 7 years, by that time more reliable information on possible adverse impacts of using NEUROFORCE will be available. It is projected that equipment will have economic life of 10 years. After buying the equipment, it requires to renovate the production bay at HITECH Ltd and install the equipment at a total cost of $1 million. These renovation and installation costs are to be considered as capital expenditures. Staff training cost of $100,000 is to be incurred initially at the start of the project.
The equipment will be procured from SWEDEN and HITECH Ltd has to pay 8% import duty on purchase price, whereas the supplier will pay transportation costs of $70,000. These property, plant and equipment (PPE) would be depreciated over its useful life of 10 years using a tax allowable straight-line rate of 10%. However, the company is planning to sell the equipment at the end of the project for an estimated price of $6 million.
Consultants estimate that 48,000 NEUROFORCE consoles can be sold in the first year with an expected increase by 25% in each year for next two years; afterwards sales are expected to decr.

This paper provides instructions on your paper requirement which comprises 20% of your total grade and is due, hard copy, no later than the start of class on the due date. NO LATE PAPERS accepted.

WR 39C ARGUMENT & RESEARCH:
FOREIGN POLICY THROUGH THE DOMESTIC LENS
_______________________________________
In the realm of public advocacy, argume ...

The nursing metaparadigm offers insights concerning the nature in wh.docxdennisa15
The nursing metaparadigm offers insights concerning the nature in which the nursing profession should be set up and properly functioning. From the nursing perspective, the concept of the metaparadigms consists of four attributes including the patient as an entity, the patient’s environment, the well-being and health of the patient, and the responsibilities of the nurse (Alimohammadi et al., 2014). These four metaparadigms have a direct impact on the implementation of culturally proficient nursing care. With the advancement in technology and ease of patient access to quality care, there is an increased number of nurse-patient relations. The nurse has to ensure the provision of patient-centered care while focusing on the nursing metaparadigms.
The aspect of culturally proficient nursing care makes use of the attitudes, knowledge, and skills that are in support of the caring of patients that originate from various cultures and ethnic backgrounds. In this accord, culture is able to directly influence the nature of the health care practice and the manner in which the healthcare provider, as well as the patient, perceives the diseases or illness (Lee, & Fawcett, 2013). Based on the theoretical frameworks that the nursing metaparadigm offers together with the assumptions, conceptual models, and propositions, the nurses can be in a position to comprehend the cultural aspect of patient care and act accordingly.
The Person Component
The patient, as the receiver of the care, makes up the person component aspect of the nursing metaparadigm. Other connections with the person component include close friends, family, and other social groups that are important to the patients and their overall well-being (Bahramnezhad et al., 2015). In this metaparadigm, nurses are able to comprehend the patient as and individuals and how they relate with others in society. The nurses are also able to understand the cultural aspects of the patient through an inquiry from the patient and close relatives in the event of patients who are not in a position to speak for themselves or make sound decisions.
The Environment Component
This concept of the nursing metaparadigm is focused on the natural and physical surrounding that impacts the day to day life of the patient. in order to offer culturally proficient care, it is important for the nurses to have a deep understanding of the patient’s environment, climatic condition, cultures, and other societal elements (Bahramnezhad et al., 2015). Be that as it may, the environment constitutes both internal and external influences that depict the nature in which the patient directly interacts with the surrounding which may or may not affect their health and wellness.
Health Component
While there is easy access to quality health care with the Affordable Care Act, the health component still focuses on the aspect of health care wellness and ease of access. The health component also focuses on the genetic makeup of the patient, social o.
The nursing metaparadigm concept I intend to focus on is person .docxdennisa15
The nursing metaparadigm concept I intend to focus on is person (patient or client). Person refers to a human being composed of needs: physical, intellectual, biochemical, and psychosocial (McEwen & Wills, 2019, p. 42). The person is an open system and is "greater than the sum of his or her parts" (McEwen & Wills, 2019, p. 42). The concept of person is most often the center of the nurse's attention and is the recipient of care.
Regarding my personal and professional experiences, I have two very different definitions of what constitutes a client. In my pediatric cardiac ICU background, the person, or patient, was generally an infant with a cardiac defect. Currently, in my practice at a medical spa, my clients range from adolescents to the elderly, focusing on physical appearance. My focus on the "person" differs significantly from my previous role to my current role.
In 1972, B. Neuman's theory stated that stress reduction is the nursing practice system model's goal (
Nursing Theories - Overview
, 2020). Her theory defines "person" as the combination of the interrelationships between physiologic, psychological, sociocultural, developmental, and spiritual variables (McEwen & Wills, 2019, p. 43). Similarly, D. Johnson's 1968 nursing theory's goal is to reduce stress, as she focuses on how stressors affect illness adaptability (
Nursing Theories - Overview
, 2020). Johnson's definition of "person" is a behavioral system with purposeful ways of behaving that connect them to their environments (McEwen & Wills, 2019, p. 43). Both Neuman and Johnson focus on decreasing stress as a way to care for patients. However, their definitions of person vary. Johnson implies that a patient's link to their environment is of most importance, and Neuman believes a person is a more integrated whole that can be singular or plural (as in a community, group, or entire social system) (McEwen & Wills, 2019, p. 43).
Within my years of practice in nursing, my definition of person, client, or patient has altered. In my earlier career, I would have been more aligned with Neuman's theory. My patients, albeit more complex, needed more from me as their nurse from more than just an environmental standpoint; I correlated their needs as a holistic being. I was focusing on not just the patient but their support system as well. As a nurse in a med spa, my clients have patterned, repetitive concerns that influence their perceived environment in different ways, which coincide more with Johnson's theory

Older adults are working longer.
By 2018, 24 percent of men and about 16 percent of women ages 65 and older were in the labor force. These levels are projected to rise further by 2026, to 26 percent for men and 18 percent for women.

Determiners
Definiteness
Example 1:
Context: Ann walks in and says to Bob:
“The student is outside.”
Bob assumes from Ann’s phrasing that she is referring to someone specific, and that he should know which student she means. (He has to use non-linguistic sources to figure out which student it is.)

Example 2:
Same context: Ann walks in and says to Bob:
“The President is on TV right now.”
Bob assumes from Ann’s phrasing that she is referring to someone specific, and that he should know which person she means. (He has to use non-linguistic sources to figure out who it is—in this case, it’s probably not difficult.)
Determiners
Indefiniteness
An indefinite noun (phrase) is NOT assumed to be known to speaker and hearer.
Determiners
Indefiniteness
Example 1:
Context: Ann walks in and begins to talk to Bob:
“A student is outside.”
Bob assumes she will explain which student is outside.
Determiners
Indefiniteness
Example 1:
Context: Ann walks in and begins to talk to Bob:
“A president is outside.”
Bob assumes she will explain which president is outside. Since there aren’t usually lots of Presidents to choose from, this sentence is odd.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

The Federalist influenced the ratification of the Constitution by
making some of their most important arguments, including the

7. Title: Common Sense and Its Impact on American Political
Thought Thesis: Thomas Paine’s Common Sense articulated the
anti-British sentiments of the Colonies in a way so
unprecedented that it permanently changed the face of political
thought in America.
I.
Intro:
A.
Thesis: Thomas Paine’s Common Sense articulated the anti-
British sentiments of the Colonies in a way so unprecedented
that it permanently changed the face of political thought in
America.
II.
What did Common Sense say that was so different? A.
It denounced both the monarchy and the English Constitution,
which had previously been looked upon as a brilliant political
document. Americans realized the inherent fallacies of
hereditary government (specifically monarchy) as well as the
English Constitution which protected the monarchy.
B.
It called for Americans to disconnect themselves from the
flawed British system and create a new one for themselves.
Common Sense questioned the long- standing belief that
residents of the colonies were inseparably connected to
England. It gave them a new identity – Americans rather then
Britons. C.
8. It also outlined the benefits of a republican government, which
would go on to influence the ideas of the Founding Fathers as
they created a new government for their new country.
III.
What was Common Sense’s immediate effect on the Colonies?
A.
The debate in the American Colonies shifted from that of
reconciliation with England to that of independence. B.
It was read by an unprecedented number of colonists and united
a great majority of them behind independence.
C.
It inspired American intellectuals with its call for independence,
leading to the composition of the Declaration of Independence a
mere six months later.
IV.
What were Common Sense’s long term effects? A.
It changed the connotation of the word “revolution” to
something that looked to the future. “Revolution” became a
word of innovation rather than renovation. B.
It permanently cemented the idea of a republican, non-
hereditary government into the heads of Americans. Common
Sense’s design for a republican government, and its basic
principles were carried on to the Constitution. V.
Conclusion A.
9. Common Sense’s eloquent, articulate, and unprecedented
arguments led to a permanent change in American political
thought
