9. Founders
Rhea Kothari focuses on Marketing, Sales and Program
Management at The Mend. Prior to founding The Mend,
she worked at a startup accelerator in New York before
joining her family business in the jewelry industry, where
she wore several different hats and learned the in’s and
out’s of running a small business. She has been
interested in implementing greener practices in her
personal and professional life, as she pushed for
sustainable packaging in her family business well before
The Mend began. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from
Columbia University with a major in Economics and a
double minor in Psychology and Sociology.
Rishika Reddy focuses on Management, Operations, and Finance
at The Mend. Prior to founding The Mend she worked at an
electric transportation solutions provider, as a part of the CEO’s
office where she was exposed to ideating and operating in
various functional areas of a startup. She is driven by solving
difficult problems in industries impacting the future of our planet,
and this has impacted her lifestyle and career choices, leading
her to found The Mend. Packaging seemed like a natural
progression to her as her family has founded and has been
operating a printing press for the past four decades. She holds a
Bachelor’s degree from Boston University with a dual degree in
Economics and Finance.

Prianka Jhaveri focuses on Strategy, Sales, Operations and
Business Development at The Mend. She first fell in love with
packaging solutions while she was working with an International
strategy consulting firm, where she worked closely with a leading
FMCG brand in India to find alternatives to PET bottles for
beverage packaging. She then went on to work with a venture
fund, where she evaluated and invested in startups and worked
closely with founders on growth and business strategy for their
brands. Her interest in alternative packaging solutions and drive
to help small companies scale their businesses lead her to co
found The Mend Packaging. She graduated from Columbia
University with a degree in Physics and Economics.

Our vendors undergo an extensive vetting and
verification process through which we evaluate their
quality, standards, and pricing.
100% of our vendors have signed our Supplier Code of
Conduct which means that everyone in our supply chain is
being treated fairly, earning fair wages and are upholding
the highest standards of labour laws and manufacturing
processes.
All of the raw materials are sourced from paper mills
with the highest standards of transparency and we require
bills of purchase and material construction certificates to
ensure authenticity of product.

ensure our finished products are as per the specifications
and standards of our clients and every piece is dispatched
in a perfect condition
