4. Lucy Pevensie
• The youngest Pevensie is cheerful, kind
and happy-go-lucky girl is the first of the
children to venture into Narnia.
• Santa Claus gives Lucy a cordial, which
she can use for healing the wounded in a
battle with the witch’s troops.
• She is known as Queen Lucy the valiant.

5. Peter Pevensie
• Peter is the oldest Pevensie of all children
and he is noble and courageous. He
matures into a young teenage in the first
few days of Narnia.
• He immediately proves himself after
protecting Susan from a ferocious animal.
• He is called the High King of Narnia.

6. Edmund Pevensie
• Edmund is fair-minded and brave, and he
just as admirable as Peter in the first half
of the movie.
• But in the second half , Edmund
befriended with the White Witch
and betrayed all his siblings.

8. White Witch
• This evil queen of Narnia places a spell on
the land so that it is winter and never
summer or Christmas. She produces the
Turkish delights that enslaves Edmund
and makes him greedy.
• The witch and embodiment of evil could
represent Satan. The witch claims the
throne of Narnia by Brute force.

9. Tumnus
• Lucy meets Tumnus a faun, on her first
excursion into Narnia. He initially intends
to kidnap her to the white witch. Tumnus
spares her life.
• Tumnus and Lucy became fast friends
once it is settled that he is not going to
capture her.

10. Beavers
• Mr. Beaver: is Tumnus’s friend and he aids
the Pevensie children for petrified faun. He
introduces the children to Santa Claus,
and intimately brings them to the stone
table and to Aslan.
• Mrs. Beaver: is very kind, good natured
motherly and a good cook.

• One of the strong character serves as the
narrator and readers watch the story,
unfold through the characters eyes.
• First person’s point of view is easy to
understand.
• The character/narrator speaks to readers
in his/her own voice, frequently using the
pronoun.

• Is relatively rare, makes the reader a
character in the story and directly
addresses reader as you.
• Eg – “Choose your adventure!” series of
1980s and 1990s. Features make the
second person point of view and allows
the readers to make decisions the affect
the storys plot and leads to various
outcomes.

• The narrator is someone outside the story,
who frequently uses pronouns like he, she
and they its to describe the characters.

• The number knows or reveals nothing

feelings and motivations but sticks to the

reveals the internal thoughts, feelings and
motivations of all characters.
