2. Rani Laxmibai
● Lakshmibai, the Rani of Jhansi, was the queen of the
princely state of Jhansi in North India currently present in
Jhansi district in Uttar Pradesh, India.
● She was one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion
of 1857 and became a symbol of resistance to the British
Raj for Indian nationalists.

● Baji Rao was a general of the Maratha Empire in India.He
served as Peshwa to the fifth Maratha Chhatrapati Shahu
from 1720 until his death.

4. Prithviraj Chauhan
● Prithviraja III, popularly known as Prithviraj Chauhan or Rai
Pithora in the folk legends, was an Indian king from the
Chahamana dynasty.
● He ruled Sapadalaksha, the traditional Chahamana
territory, in present-day north-western India.
● Prithviraj Chauhan was a Rajput king who ruled the
kingdoms of Ajmer and Delhi in northern India in 12th
century; he was one of the last independent Hindu kings to
sit upon the throne of Delhi.

5. Rani Padmavati
● Padmini, also known as Padmavati, was a legendary
13th–14th century queen (Rani) of the Mewar kingdom of
present-day India. ... Alauddin Khalji laid siege to Chittor to
obtain Padmavati.
● Several 16th-century texts mention her, of which the
earliest source is Padmavat, an epic fictionalized poem
written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi in 1540 CE.

6. Jodha Bai
● Mariam-uz-Zamani c. 1542 – 19 May 1623) was a wife of
the Mughal emperor Akbar. She was also historically
referred to by several other names, including Hira Kunwari,
Harkha Bai and Jodha Bai.
● Born a Hindu-Rajput princess, in 1562, Mariam-uz-
Zamani was offered in marriage to Akbar by her father,
Raja Bharmal of Amber.

7. Chandragupta Maurya
● Chandragupta Maurya (reign: c. 321 – c. 297 BCE) was
the founder of the Maurya Empire in ancient India. He built
one of the largest-ever empires on the Indian subcontinent
and then, according to Jain sources, he renounced it all
and became a monk.
● He is founder of the Mauryan dynasty and the first
emperor to unify most of India under one administration.
