Jahangir, also known as Prince Salim, was the fourth Mughal Emperor who ruled from 1605 until his death in 1627. He forcefully succeeded his father Akbar to the throne after a struggle between Akbar's sons. As a prince, Salim showed early military talent, commanding troops as young as twelve years old. During his reign, Jahangir did not participate directly in battles and relied on his son Shah Jahan and other officers to lead the military. He had interests in architecture and oversaw construction projects, including his father Akbar's tomb. Jahangir died in 1627 while returning from Kashmir, where he had hoped to restore his health.
Babur was born in 1483 in Fergana Valley and founded the Mughal Dynasty in India. Through his military genius, he defeated the Delhi Sultan Ibrahim Lodi at the First Battle of Panipat in 1526. He went on to defeat the Rajput confederacy led by Rana Sanga of Mewar at the Battle of Khanua and the Afghans at the Battle of Ghagra. Though he ruled for only four years, Babur established the foundations of the vast Mughal Empire and was a patron of architecture, building mosques like the Babri Mosque and gardens like the Bagh-e-Babur. He introduced gunpowder weapons and cavalry tactics
Humayun became Mughal emperor in 1530 but lacked experience in consolidating the new dynasty. He was defeated by Sher Shah Suri in 1539. Sher Shah established the Sur Empire, introducing administrative reforms. Humayun went into exile for 15 years before regaining control in 1555, but died within a year. Sher Shah proved to be a gifted ruler, building the Grand Trunk Road and establishing a unified currency before dying in an explosion in 1545.
Balaji Vishwanath assisted the Maratha Emperor Shahu to consolidate power after a period of civil war and attacks from the Mughals. He helped establish the Maratha State and came from a Konkani Brahmin family from coastal Maharashtra. Bajirao I was a legendary general and Peshwa of the Maratha Empire from 1720-1740, expanding the Empire's territory significantly. He came from the Bhat family and was the son of Balaji Vishwanath. His successors also contributed to the growth of the Maratha Empire, though internal conflicts and attacks from outsiders also challenged it.
Mohandas Gandhi led the Indian independence movement using non-violent tactics like non-cooperation and peaceful resistance. When Indians were massacred at Jallianwala Bagh, anger grew but Gandhi continued advocating non-violence. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel unified India's princely states through diplomacy. Bhagat Singh used violence in protest and was hanged for throwing a bomb in the legislative assembly. Subhas Chandra Bose formed the Indian National Army to fight alongside Japan for India's independence.
Sher Shah Sur was a 16th century ruler of India who established the Sur Empire from 1540 to 1555. He instituted major administrative reforms, building on the foundations of the Delhi Sultanate. Some key reforms included establishing a uniform coinage and taxation system, constructing a grand trunk road connecting major cities, and promoting education. Sher Shah proved to be a gifted military leader, conquering much of northern India and defeating the Mughal emperor Humayun twice in battle. Though his reign was brief, Sher Shah is remembered as one of the most effective rulers in the subcontinent for his transformative administrative policies.
Shah Jahan ruled the Mughal Empire from 1627 to 1658, during which time the empire reached its peak of prosperity. However, in 1658 Shah Jahan fell ill and was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb in the Agra fort, where he remained until his death in 1666. During his reign, Shah Jahan commissioned many grand architectural works, most famously the Taj Mahal mausoleum in Agra built for his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
This document provides a summary of stories about the life of Shivaji, the 17th century ruler of the Maratha Empire in India. It discusses how Shivaji has been an inspiration for many stories that were told to encourage nationalism. It highlights two stories - one about Shivaji's humility in attending a spiritual gathering despite risks, and another where Shivaji surrendered his kingdom to his guru Ramdas but it was returned with a message to hold it in trust for God. The document emphasizes how history and stories are intertwined, and how stories have helped Indians honor their national heroes.

Various symbols, numbers, and characters are used throughout in a way that does not clearly convey meaning on its own. The document touches on multiple subjects without clearly connecting or explaining them, making the overall message and intent difficult to determine from this summary alone.

This document presents a study on the design and in-vitro evaluation of floating tablets of Gabapentin. Gabapentin was chosen as a model drug candidate for a gastroretentive floating drug delivery system due to its narrow absorption window and solubility issues. A 32 full factorial design was used to study the effect of HPMC K100M polymer concentration and citric acid on tablet properties. Tablets were prepared by direct compression and evaluated for drug release kinetics, which followed Higuchi matrix and zero order models. The optimized batch with 99.06% drug release at 12 hours was found to be GFT7. A stability study showed no changes in this batch over one month. The study demonstrated that floating gabap

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has three projects and poses them to start-ups as three separate problems to solve:
1. How can we better use social media to drive discovery of our movies and content? This would be an app that encourages film collecting, enhances the discovery of titles based on their social media connections, and provides better movie recommendations.
2. How can we make digital ownership of movies and tv a richer experience? Are there ways we can enhance digital viewing experience for movies and tv shows, such as offering more “extras” content and providing interactive experiences?
3. How can studios better identify, understand, and target home entertainment superconsumers? Currently there isn’t direct touch to consumers because Sony reaches consumers through its partners. What is a direct way Sony can get the right offer in front of the right consumer at the right time?

Designing and Sustaining Large-Scale Value-Centered Agile Ecosystems (powered...Alexey Krivitsky
Is Agile dead? It depends on what you mean by 'Agile'. If you mean that the organizations are not getting the promised benefits because they were focusing too much on the team-level agile "ways of working" instead of systemic global improvements -- then we are in agreement. It is a misunderstanding of Agility that led us down a dead-end. At Org Topologies, we see bright sparks -- the signs of the 'second wave of Agile' as we call it. The emphasis is shifting towards both in-team and inter-team collaboration. Away from false dichotomies. Both: team autonomy and shared broad product ownership are required to sustain true result-oriented organizational agility. Org Topologies is a package offering a visual language plus thinking tools required to communicate org development direction and can be used to help design and then sustain org change aiming at higher organizational archetypes.

From Concept to reality : Implementing Lean Managements DMAIC Methodology for...Rokibul Hasan
The Ready-Made Garments (RMG) industry in Bangladesh is a cornerstone of the economy, but increasing costs and stagnant productivity pose significant challenges to profitability. This study explores the implementation of Lean Management in the Sampling Section of RMG factories to enhance productivity. Drawing from a comprehensive literature review, theoretical framework, and action research methodology, the study identifies key areas for improvement and proposes solutions.
Through the DMAIC approach (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), the research identifies low productivity as the primary problem in the Sampling Section, with a PPH (Productivity per head) of only 4.0. Using Lean Management techniques such as 5S, Standardized work, PDCA/Kaizen, KANBAN, and Quick Changeover, the study addresses issues such as pre and post Quick Changeover (QCO) time, improper line balancing, and sudden plan changes.
The research employs regression analysis to test hypotheses, revealing a significant correlation between reducing QCO time and increasing productivity. With a regression equation of Y = -0.000501X + 6.72 and an R-squared value of 0.98, the study demonstrates a strong relationship between the independent variables (QCO downtime and improper line balancing downtime) and the dependent variable (productivity per head).
The findings suggest that by implementing Lean Management practices and addressing key productivity inhibitors, RMG factories can achieve substantial improvements in efficiency and profitability. The study provides valuable insights for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers seeking to enhance productivity in the RMG industry and similar manufacturing sectors.

m249-saw PMI To familiarize the soldier with the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon ...LinghuaKong2
M249 Saw marksman PMIThe Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), or 5.56mm M249 is an individually portable, gas operated, magazine or disintegrating metallic link-belt fed, light machine gun with fixed headspace and quick change barrel feature. The M249 engages point targets out to 800 meters, firing the improved NATO standard 5.56mm cartridge. The SAW forms the basis of firepower for the fire team. The gunner has the option of using 30-round M16 magazines or linked ammunition from pre-loaded 200-round plastic magazines. The gunner's basic load is 600 rounds of linked ammunition. The SAW was developed through an initially Army-led research and development effort and eventually a Joint NDO program in the late 1970s/early 1980s to restore sustained and accurate automatic weapons fire to the fire team and squad. When actually fielded in the mid-1980s, the SAW was issued as a one-for-one replacement for the designated "automatic rifle" (M16A1) in the Fire Team. In this regard, the SAW filled the void created by the retirement of the Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) during the 1950s because interim automatic weapons (e.g. M-14E2/M16A1) had failed as viable "base of fire" weapons.
Early in the SAW's fielding, the Army identified the need for a Product Improvement Program (PIP) to enhance the weapon. This effort resulted in a "PIP kit" which modifies the barrel, handguard, stock, pistol grip, buffer, and sights.
The M249 machine gun is an ideal complementary weapon system for the infantry squad platoon. It is light enough to be carried and operated by one man, and can be fired from the hip in an assault, even when loaded with a 200-round ammunition box. The barrel change facility ensures that it can continue to fire for long periods. The US Army has conducted strenuous trials on the M249 MG, showing that this weapon has a reliability factor that is well above that of most other small arms weapon systems. Today, the US Army and Marine Corps utilize the license-produced M249 SAW.
