The University of Pavia implemented a pilot e-learning project called Kiro-Maieuta at the Faculty of Pharmacy to enhance traditional classroom learning with web-based activities. The project's goals were to improve teaching quality, promote interaction between students and teachers, and integrate online and in-person learning. It created an online portal with learning materials, self-assessments, exercises and access to open repositories. Over 1,600 files were made available. Usage was monitored and tutoring was provided to students needing assistance. The university aims to evaluate the project and potentially expand the model to other faculties.
