The Júcar river flows 509 kilometres from its source in Cuenca mountains to its end near Valencia, passing through Albacete, Cuenca, and Valencia. Its most important tributary is the Cabriel River. Near Albacete, the beautiful town of Alcalá del Júcar offers opportunities to view and swim in the Júcar River. The river also flows near Valdeganga, where visitors can walk, sunbathe, or enjoy sports before having paella at a nearby restaurant.
