Three things are inevitable in this life. If you earn an income you taxes. You will eventually die. There will be a resurrection. Visit us at Bibleguy.org
1. Paul preaches that the gospel message he taught, which the Corinthians received and now believe, is that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead on the third day.
2. He argues that if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised either and their preaching and faith are in vain.
3. However, Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, as demonstrated by his post-resurrection appearances to the disciples and over 500 others, and this secures the resurrection of all believers.
The document discusses the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. It describes how Christ was the revelation of God's love and plan for redemption through his crucifixion, death, and resurrection. It asserts that through faith in Christ, believers have new life and are no longer slaves to sin due to his righteousness. The resurrection power of Christ gives rebirth and circumcision of the heart, allowing believers to walk in newness of life.

Crucified With Christ - The Two Pathways Of Mind Control - 12 Apr 2015MinistryOfHeaing777
Crucified With Christ - The Two Pathways Of Mind Control . Will we allow God to give us the mind of Christ and die to self ? Or will we submit our will to the Devil through the influence of modern music, media and the occult ? The presentation explores the latest demonic push to capture our minds, plus the Hope of victory over self through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Holy Spirit makes the graces that Jesus won for humanity available to all people. After ascending to heaven, Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit, God's graces can reach all people regardless of time, place, or location. The Holy Spirit makes Jesus present in our lives and is the giver of God's divine life. We first receive God's life through baptism and continue receiving grace in the sacraments as the Holy Spirit nourishes our souls. God wants to share his life with us and gives us many means of accessing grace through the Church.

The document discusses the role and work of the Holy Spirit. It notes that the disciples were afraid after Jesus told them he was leaving, but Jesus explained that it was better because the Holy Spirit would come. The Holy Spirit works through the church to reconcile people to God. The Holy Spirit's job is to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment in order to bring people to salvation through Christ. He teaches believers and helps them understand Scripture.
Paul was originally a persecutor of Christians known as Saul but experienced a dramatic conversion on the road to Damascus when Jesus appeared to him in a vision. From that point on, Paul became one of the most prominent early Christian missionaries and evangelists who vigorously spread the gospel message. He emphasized that he was appointed as an apostle by God's will alone, not through his own efforts, and was taught directly by Jesus during his conversion experience.
Moses questions God about who he is to demand that Pharaoh release the Israelites from Egypt. God responds that He will be with Moses and tells Moses His name is "I AM". Throughout the Bible, God and Jesus refer to themselves as "I AM" to signify that they are the eternal, self-existent one. Jesus performs many miracles and makes statements where He calls himself the "I AM", such as "I am the bread of life" and "I am the light of the world". By calling himself the "I AM", Jesus was claiming to be God.
The document discusses God's love through Christ as described in Ephesians 3. It states that Christ dwells in our hearts through faith, rooting us in love. When indwelt by the Holy Spirit, we have power to understand God's love in its fullness. God grants strength to the inner spiritual man. Knowing God's love transforms us from seeking fulfillment in temporary things to finding fullness in Christ alone. It gives hope despite weaknesses and frees us from pleasing people or seeking attention, instead finding identity and approval in God.

"Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness." - Psalm 29:2. Choose the "seal of the living God" or the "mark of the beast".
Advancing the good news of peace - Ephesians 6:15David Turner
1) The document discusses how peace comes from God and how Jesus is referred to as the Prince of Peace.
2) It provides several Bible verses that reference peace, including how Jesus preached peace and promised his disciples peace.
3) The overarching message is that through faith in Jesus Christ, believers can have peace both presently and eternally.
The document discusses how the gospel can be articulated as "entering God's rest." It explores what is meant by rest in scripture from Genesis to Revelation. God's rest is not laziness, busyness, or a sense of accomplishment, but finding peace through trusting in God alone rather than one's own works. Jesus invites all who are weary to find rest in him as our Sabbath rest was meant to foreshadow.
This document contains prayers and affirmations for defeating demons and overthrowing darkness. It includes declarations such as being redeemed from curses and sickness, overcoming all through Christ's power within, being covered by the armor of God, and having authority over serpents and scorpions. The prayers affirm blessings of being righteous, having favor with God, dwelling in God's protection, and being strengthened by the Holy Spirit.
The document provides an overview and summary of Paul's letter to the Philippians, with a focus on the theme of joy. It discusses how joy is a gift from God and is experienced through believing in God's son, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and obeying God's word. It also notes how joy can be deepened through trials. The summary then briefly introduces Paul and Timothy as bond servants of Christ who viewed themselves as slaves of the Lord.
The document discusses the gospel message as presented in the Bible. It defines the gospel as the news of Jesus, who died for sins and was resurrected. It lists several key themes of the gospel: rest, fulfillment, freedom, and forgiveness. It also notes that the gospel has been preached since the beginning and was foretold by the prophets in the Old Testament.
The document discusses the significance and implications of Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead. It outlines six victories achieved through the resurrection: 1) Victory over Satan by destroying his works. 2) Victory over death by rendering it powerless. 3) Victory of Christ's word by fulfilling his prophecies. 4) Victory of Christ's person by proving his deity. 5) Victory of the gospel's confirmation through eyewitness testimony. 6) Victory over eternity by granting eternal life to believers. The resurrection ensures believers will be raised imperishable and inherit eternal life in God's kingdom.
This document discusses how Christians should live in light of the imminent return of Jesus Christ. It examines different views on the rapture and tribulation period. The key points are:
1. Every generation of Christians believed Jesus was coming during their lifetime, based on signs in the Bible.
2. The document reviews passages suggesting the rapture occurs mid-tribulation or post-tribulation, not pre-tribulation as many believe.
3. Based on Jesus' teachings, Christians should live in constant readiness for His return, providing for others and making prudent preparations, rather than ignoring the signs of the times. How Christians live should reflect their eagerness to see Him.
This document discusses several topics related to Christian theology, including salvation, election, free will, and the doctrines of Calvinism and Arminianism. It presents differing views on whether salvation is by grace alone and kept by God's power or requires works. It also explores whether God chooses who will be saved in advance or gives humans free will to choose, and examines key Bible passages related to election, free will, predestination, and God choosing certain people like Abraham, David, Jeremiah, and Paul. The document contrasts Calvinism, which believes in unconditional election, with Arminianism, which believes God predestined based on foreknowledge of who would choose him.
We’re Wrestling Who? - Ephesians 6:10-13David Turner
Our battles are not against flesh and blood. Our battles are against Principalities and Powers. These adversaries are much bigger than us and cannot be defeated by our own strength. In Ephesians 6:10-13 Paul identifies who we are really wrestling with and follows up with advice on how to compete to gain victory. For this and other PowerPoint Presentations go to www.Bibleguy.org.
The document provides an overview of the gospel message in 3 parts:
1) It explains why we need Jesus due to our sin and its consequences of judgment and hell.
2) It describes what Jesus did for us through his sinless life, death on the cross, and resurrection to pay for our sins and defeat death.
3) It discusses how we can receive eternal life through faith in Jesus and repentance from sins.
The second study in our "Growing Deep in the Gospel" series in which we answer the question, "What is the Gospel?" In answering the question we looked at how the word "gospel" was used in Jesus' day and how the Bible describes the gospel. We also looked at what is the heart of the gospel, a outline of the basic gospel message and an outline of the gospel based on the entire Bible.
The document outlines the sanctuary service in the earthly tabernacle and its antitype in Jesus' heavenly ministry. It describes the daily and yearly services on earth, which pointed to the continual intercession of Jesus and His final atonement cleansing believers of sin's record. It urges readers to come humbly before God's judgment, pleading only the merits of Christ, who will present believers faultless before the Father.
The Five Points of Calvinism in the Teachings of ChristPeter Hammond
1) The document discusses the five points of Calvinism: total depravity of man, unconditional election, limited atonement, irresistible grace, and perseverance of the saints.
2) It provides biblical support for each of the five points from the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament.
3) The five points are contrasted with the Arminian heresy, which is rejected, and their affirmation at the Synod of Dort is discussed.
Do you believe that Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead? The Bible gives testimony that Jesus predicted both his death and resurrection. We have good reason to believe.

This document discusses the biblical concept of death, the afterlife, and resurrection based on numerous passages from the Bible. The key points are:
1) Many Bible passages discuss what happens to humans after death, with some indicating the dead know nothing and others that believers will be resurrected.
2) Jesus performed miracles like raising Lazarus from the dead to demonstrate his power over death. He promised believers would have eternal life.
3) At the end times, Christians believe the dead will be resurrected - those who did good works to eternal life and those who sinned to judgment. There will be no more death or suffering once God creates a new heaven and earth.

The document discusses the human condition of being designed to live briefly and then die. It notes that deterioration and death are inevitable outcomes for humans according to scientific sources. However, it argues that through Jesus Christ, humans can receive the gift of immortality from God and no longer be subject to death. It outlines the steps of believing, repenting of past lives, being baptized in Jesus' name, and remaining steadfast for life in order to obtain salvation and eternal life.
God's judgment hour involves reviewing the records of each person's life, contained in books in heaven. These books contain transcripts of every word and deed, as well as tears and names. At judgment, each person will appear with the same character and be rewarded or punished according to their works. The judgment began in 1844 after the persecution of the church from 538-1798 by the little horn power.
The document discusses the biblical concept of resurrection from the dead through Jesus Christ. It provides several Bible verses that describe two resurrections - one for believers who will live eternally, and another for unbelievers who will face eternal damnation. The resurrection process is described as having three parts: Christ as the firstfruits, a rapture and resurrection of believers at His return, and a final resurrection and rapture of tribulation saints after Christ's second coming.

Revelation is like a script for movies
This presentation is my interpretation on Revelation 20.
Just start after down loading and let run.
God created humans in His image and gave them dominion over the earth. However, through Adam and Eve's sin, dominion was handed over to Satan. Jesus reclaimed dominion by defeating sin and death on the cross. Believers in Christ now have authority over evil spirits and sickness as they are part of Christ's body. Each person was created by God for a purpose, and He has good plans for their lives and eternity. The church continues Christ's work by spreading the gospel message and demonstrating God's power and love.
Believing in the physical resurrection is essential, because it goes to the state that man will occupy Heaven and the Earth.
The resurrected body of Jesus is in the same form as it was when He lived, for the most part. To be more specific Jesus was recognizable to those who knew him, so He was familiar, He did not have blood in His body, which is the essence of how God chose to enact immortality in men.
When will we_(christians)_be_raised; before, during or after the Tabulation?C J Yang
The document discusses when Christians will be raised based on passages from the Bible. It argues that Christians will be raised in two times: (1) Some Christians ("saints") who were martyred for their faith or who rejected the mark of the beast will be raised to rule with Christ for 1000 years during the Millennium period. (2) Most Christians today ("ordinary Christians") will have their bodies transformed and be raised into the sky to meet God after the Millennium period, at the time of the Great White Throne judgment. The document concludes that "ordinary Christians" will not rule with Christ during the Millennium like some Christians, contrary to common teachings.
Multitudes gather today to remember an important historical event. The document discusses Jesus' resurrection, noting that his body was not found in the tomb as he had prophesied. It explores the importance of the resurrection, saying that if Jesus had not been raised, our faith in his sacrifice would be meaningless. The resurrection demonstrates Jesus' power over death and gives believers hope that they too will be resurrected and given imperishable bodies.

The document discusses the meaning and message of the gospel. In Jesus' day, "gospel" meant an important message of "good news" proclaimed on behalf of a king. The basic gospel message is that all people are sinful and separated from God, but Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross to pay the penalty for sins, and rose from the dead to offer salvation to all who repent of their sins and put their faith in Him. To receive what Jesus did requires repenting from sin and believing in Him through faith in order to be restored to God and receive eternal life.
The document discusses the 144,000 mentioned in Revelation 14. It proposes that they are a faithful remnant who will stand during the end times and be protected and guided by God. They will have overcome sin and fully reflect the character of Christ. The document explores various interpretations of the 144,000 and compares them to descriptions of God's people elsewhere in scripture.
The document discusses 6 popular views of what happens after death and the Christian view. The Christian view is that man has a body, soul, and spirit. When a person dies, their soul and spirit transition from the earthly body to an eternal state in either heaven or hell. The Bible teaches that believers will receive a glorified, immortal body and go to paradise to be with God, while unbelievers will go to hades or hell to face eternal torment and separation from God. One's destiny of eternity in heaven or hell is determined by whether they accept Jesus as their savior.

Are we trying to impress the world? Are we trying to impress others? Who are we trying to impress? Ultimately we can impress no one, not even God. But rewards are with God, not because we can impress him, but because he honors those that love him.
Jesus Christ is the source and giver of all life. He created all things and upholds all creation. In Him was life originally and He is the author and sustainer of both physical life and eternal life. The Bible testifies throughout that whoever believes in Jesus Christ has eternal life both now and forever. He alone can grant resurrection and eternal fellowship with God.

I Want To Be Like Sarah - 1 Peter 3:1-9David Turner
1) The document discusses how wives should emulate Sarah by submitting to their husbands. It provides examples of how Sarah submitted to Abraham and calls wives to have a gentle spirit rather than focusing on outward beauty.
2) It encourages wives to submit for the purpose of potentially winning over disobedient husbands through godly living. It also calls husbands to treat wives with consideration and honor.
3) The document concludes by saying Christians should emulate Christ's humility and that being like Sarah means being like Christ.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

2. There is one thing in life that is absolutely
inevitable.
It will happen to all of you.
This time of year you are brought face to face
with this inevitable fact of life.
7. If you don’t believe that death is
inevitable, I challenge you -
Don’t Die!
8. People Avoid Death
They Ignore it!
They Fight it!
Health food
Exercise
Meditation
Miracle cures
Freezing bodies - Cryonics
9. Age anxiety can be Fear of Death?
We run from age
Plastic surgery, face lifts, etc.
If we look younger will we be younger?
Subconsciously are we thinking we can
postpone death?
10. Do we have contempt for the aged?
Death is more inevitable than age,
because some will die before they
age.
11. There is a power behind death!
If death had no power it wouldn’t
be feared and revered.
13. Death is the result of Sin!
Romans 5:12 (ESV)
12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world
through one man, and death through sin, and
so death spread to all men because all
sinned—
14. Death is the Payment for Sin!
Romans 6:23 a
23 For the wages of sin is death, …..
15. Though it appears that death is
inevitable, there is something more
inevitable than death.
For not all die
16. Enoch did not die
Genesis 5:24 Enoch walked with God, and he
was not, for God took him.
Elijah did not die
2 Kings 2:11 And as they still went on and
talked, behold, chariots of fire and horses of
fire separated the two of them. And Elijah
went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
17. Some of you may not die
1 Thessalonians 4:13–17
13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about
those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do
who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and
rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him
those who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you by
a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until
the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have
fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven
with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and
with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ
will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be
caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord
in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
21. The Righteous will be raised
up to eternal life.
Revelation 20:4–6
4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom
the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of
those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and
for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the
beast or its image and had not received its mark on their
foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with
Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not
come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the
first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is the one who shares in
the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no
power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they
will reign with him for a thousand years.
22. The Unrighteous will be
resurrected to judgment!
Revelation 20:11–15
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on
it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place
was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small,
standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then
another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the
dead were judged by what was written in the books, according
to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who
were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in
them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to
what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown
into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15
And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of
life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
23. Resurrection has greater
power than death!
1 Corinthians 15:50–57 (ESV)
50 I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit
the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the
imperishable. 51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall
not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a
moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised
imperishable, and we shall be changed.
24. Resurrection has greater
power than death!
1 Corinthians 15:50–57 (ESV)
53 For this perishable body must put on the
imperishable, and this mortal body must put on
immortality. 54 When the perishable puts on the
imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then
shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is
swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O death, where is your
victory? O death, where is your sting?” 56 The sting of
death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But
thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our
Lord Jesus Christ.
25. What will the Resurrection
do to Death?
• The Resurrection will nullify the effects of
death and decay.
• The Resurrection will swallow up death –
making it void or ineffective.
• The Resurrection will remove the sting of
death for believers.
26. Jesus’ resurrection is
power over death?
Ephesians 1:17–22
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may
give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of
him, 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may
know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the
riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the
immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe,
according to the working of his great might 20 that he worked in
Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his
right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and
authority and power and dominion, and above every name that
is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And
he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all
things to the church,
27. His Resurrection demonstrates
His power
• Power over sin
• Power over death
• Power over nature
• Power over all authorities, human and
spiritual
28. Jesus is the Power of Resurrection.
John 11:21–26 (ESV)
21 Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you had been here,
my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I
know that whatever you ask from God, God will
give you.” 23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise
again.” 24 Martha said to him, “I know that he will
rise again in the resurrection on the last day.” 25
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life.
Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he
live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me
shall never die. Do you believe this?”
