Elisha Woyo presented a paper on tourism development at Domboshava National Monument in Zimbabwe from 2005-2010. The paper analyzed the economic, environmental, and sociocultural impacts of increased tourism. It found that tourism led to job creation, income generation, and infrastructure development in the local community. However, tourism also caused some social conflicts and threatened the site's traditional spiritual values as visitor numbers grew. The paper concluded that sustainable tourism is needed to conserve the environment and culture while ensuring community benefits from tourism are long-lasting.
