Introduction and Purpose: The research at hand explores employee motivation in Nigerian context with banking and government sectors as the backdrop. Contemporary organizations have put much emphasis to understand the dynamics of job performance, the impact of intrinsic rewards and training on employees and the intertwined relationship they have with motivation, which the present study tries to explain. This is specially so because a happy and motivated worker is an efficient performer. Methodology: Set in North Eastern part of Nigeria a sample size of 146 employees which included 88 from government organizations and 58 from private banking sector were taken up for the study through nonprobability convenience sampling method. The data collection instrument gathered the demographic profile of the respondents while information for other above mentioned variables was drawn together through different Likert type scales employed in earlier researches. Cronbach’s Alpha values were put to confirm the validity of the instrument, moreover Pearson Correlations, Pearson Chi Square Test, One Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Levene Statistics, Games-Howell Test, Simple Means, Standard Deviation and Percentages were additional data analysis tools. Findings: The comparative analysis of bank and government employees vis-à-vis variables tested gave out findings which were similar as well as different for these two sectors. Government employees were found to be more motivated, having positive views on intrinsic rewards and training that they received, which was in sharp contrast to banking professionals. Despite being less motivated bankers nonetheless were better performing job wise than their government sector counterparts. Age and income also had affect on the above mentioned independent variables for the employees surveyed. Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disorder that can lead to the destruction of the periodontal tissues and ultimately tooth loss. Regeneration of the reduced periodontium is the ideal goal in periodontal therapy. To date, regenerative therapy with membranes, bone grafting materials, growth factors and the combination of these procedures have been investigated and employed with distinct levels of clinical success. Barrier membranes prevent epithelial down growth, allow periodontal ligament and alveolar bone cells to repopulate the defect thereby favoring the regeneration of periodontal tissues. This article discusses various membranes used for periodontal regeneration and their impact on the experimental or clinical management of periodontal defects.

intrinsic reward (Appreciation), training and expectancy on employee motivation and impact
of employee motivation on job satisfaction and knowledge transfer. The general purpose of
this study is to motivate employees. If employees are motivated, they will be satisfied by
their jobs and if they are satisfied by their job then they will work hard to attain
organizational goals and if goals are achieved then organization will get profit. The current
research is descriptive in its nature. We select the sample from different sectors in Pakistan.
We select the sample of 200 respondents from population for the collection of data and to
check the response of different employees. For this purpose, we structured a self-
administrated questionnaire and filled it from the right respondent for true results. We use

Regression analysis in this study. This analysis is very important to check the confidence of
the study from different respondents. Due to this analysis, we found that Pay and
Appreciation are not directly effecting the employee motivation. Job satisfaction also has no
direct link with employee motivation but training of employee, expectancy and knowledge
transfer have direct relationship with employee motivation. These three variables help a lot to
motivate an employee.

Learning transfer in leadership programs.docxSara239500
Understand the importance of leadership development initiatives in corporate environments. It is not enough to evaluate our programs using formative and summative evaluations or implementing the Kirkpatrick evaluation model to gain insights into how participants implement the knowledge or skills after training. We must understand how to design a program that has elements that will promote transfer before, during, and after the program. This paper will examine the impact of learning transfer and the models used to understand better how to achieve this. Afterward, a deep dive will be done into the relationship between learning transfer and leadership development and what elements can be incorporated before, during, and after the programs that can impact transfer.

The Efficacy of Executive Coaching in
Times of Organisational Change
ANTHONY M. GRANT
Coaching Psychology Unit, School of Psychology, University of Sydney, Sydney, Australia
ABSTRACT Executive coaching is often used in times of organisational change to help executives
develop the psychological and behavioural skills needed to focus on reaching their work-related
goals whilst simultaneously dealing with the turbulence associated with organisational change.
Despite its widespread use, little research has explored the impact of executive coaching during
periods of organisational change. This within-subject study used both quantitative and qualitative
measures to explore the impact of executive coaching during a period of organisational change
on 31 executives and managers from a global engineering consulting organisation. Participation
in the coaching was associated with increased goal attainment, enhanced solution-focused
thinking, a greater ability to deal with change, increased leadership self-efficacy and resilience,
and decrease in depression. The positive impact of coaching generalised to non-work areas such
as family life. Recommendations are made for the measurement and design of executive coaching
programmes.
KEY WORDS: Executive coaching, organisational change, leadership self-efficacy, solution-
focused thinking
Introduction
Organisational turbulence has increasingly become part of the everyday experi-
ence in organisations in the contemporary Western commercial world. Organis-
ational turbulence is defined as nontrivial, rapid, and discontinuous change in
an organisation, brought about by events such as restructurings, downsizings,
sales, and spin-offs of assets and acquisitions, the effects of which are often
experienced as disconcerting (Cameron et al., 1987).

Whereas in the last century organisational change tended to be part of desig-
nated mergers and acquisitions or pre-planned cultural development initiatives
(Gaughan, 2010), since 2000 the rate and unpredictability of organisational
change appear to have escalated, resulting in greater demands and stresses
being placed on managers and executives (Sablonnière et al., 2012). Such econ-
omic uncertainty and organisational turbulence have been particularly evident
since the 2007 Global Financial Crisis.

CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!

Final project report on grocery store management system..pdfKamal Acharya
In today’s fast-changing business environment, it’s extremely important to be able to respond to client needs in the most effective and timely manner. If your customers wish to see your business online and have instant access to your products or services.
Online Grocery Store is an e-commerce website, which retails various grocery products. This project allows viewing various products available enables registered users to purchase desired products instantly using Paytm, UPI payment processor (Instant Pay) and also can place order by using Cash on Delivery (Pay Later) option. This project provides an easy access to Administrators and Managers to view orders placed using Pay Later and Instant Pay options.
In order to develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, server and client-side scripting techniques, implementation technologies, programming language (such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and MySQL relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart website and also to know about the technologies used to develop such a website.
This document will discuss each of the underlying technologies to create and implement an e- commerce website.
Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

I. INTRODUCTION
This study aims to explore the variable compensation, career planning organizational commitment at
the STIE Dharma Negara Bandung. In some studies and literature that human resources are one of the indicators
of success College lecturers are lecturers. Lecturer Performance Assessment consisting of elements Tridharma
and publication is one that can improve the compensation and career shaping lecturers and became lecturer in
organizational commitment in the Higher Education.
Four facet model of career growth and to examine its effect on occupational commitment and turnover
intentions. Weng conceptualized career growth as consisting of four factors: career goal progress, professional
ability development, promotion speed, and remuneration growth. Results from a sample of 396 managers failed
to confirm the four factor model, showing instead the need to collapse promotion speed and remuneration
growth into a single facet, rewards. The three remaining dimensions of career growth were negatively related to
turnover intentions and affective occupational commitment was found to partially mediate these relationships.
Results are discussed in terms of using career growth to manage turnover (QingxiongWeng, James C.
McElroy,2012,256)
Lecturer career growth aims to transform, develop, and disseminate science, technology, and the arts
through education, research, and community service. Career faculty can be increased with the title professor or
professor who is the highest functional office for the professors still teach in the higher education unit.
Development of professional skills as a teacher through the promotion of lecturers with increasing
speed functional positions of lecturers, and the growth of remuneration with increased compensation. Lecturers
are entitled to increase the compensation by implementing elements of Tridharma Universities with improving
the status of academic positions consisting of 4 level:

II. LITERATURE REVIEW
2.1.Compensation
Compensation according to R. Wayne Mondy (2008.7) the total remuneration received by the
employee as a substitute for the services they have to offer. Compensation consists of 2 types of compensation
Financial and Nonfinancial compensation. There are two classifications in the application of Financial
Compensation namely:
1. Direct Financial Compensation consists of payments received by a person in the form of wages, salaries,
commissions and bonuses
2. Financial compensation is not directly (benefits) covers all the financial rewards are not included in direct
financial compensation
Nonfinancial compensation includes the satisfaction one receives from the work itself or from
environmental psychological and / or physical where the person works.
Wayne F. Cascio (1990) defines that the Compensation includes direct form of cash payments, the
payment is not directly in the form of employee benefits, and incentives to motivate employees to work hard to
achieve higher productivity.Richard J.Long (1998), Vecchio (2006) and Martocchio (2004) stated
Compensation is everything that is given to the employee organization either financial or non-financial.As stated
by Keith Davis and Werther W.B., 1996 that Compensation is something that employees received in exchange
of their services to the company's contribution.
A career is all the jobs held during the life of a person in his work (Keith Davis and Werther W.B;
1996).Sherman et al., (1998) to formulate the phases of career development programs which include:
1. Balancing the needs of individuals and companies
2. Creating favorable conditions
3. Inventory job opportunities
4. Determine the potential employee
2.2. Career Planning
Stone (in Gomez, 2003: 213) states that "development carrer Refers to the process and activities
Involved in preparing an employee for future positions in the organization". Career development ie show the
processes and activities prepare an employee for the post within the organization to come.John M Ivancevichdan
Robert Konopaske (2012, 434) :

Management and career development will increase the effectiveness and creativity of human resources
in order to support the company to achieve its goals (Robbins, 1996).
Career planning does not guarantee the success of one's career, but the absence of a career planning
sometimes one becomes not have the preparation in using the opportunities that arise. The primary
responsibility of career planning and career development person is himself, while the involvement of HR-Dept
to make a career planning as a joint success (employees and companies) is to provide information and providing
management support.

2.3. Organizational Commitment
Mowday, Porter and Steers (1997) defines organizational commitment as the relative strength of the individual
in identifying integrating themselves into parts of the organization. It is characterized by three things:
1. Acceptance of the values and goals of the organization
2. The readiness and willingness to strive earnestly on behalf of the organization and
3. The desire to maintain membership in the organization (to be part of the organization)
Furthermore Mowday, Porter and Steers (1997) suggested that characterized their commitment
1. Strong Belief and acceptance of the goals and values of the organization
2. The readiness and willingness to work hard
3. A strong desire to stay in an organization
Thus the commitment classified attitudinal or affective commitment because they relate to the extent to
which individuals feel their personal values and goals in accordance with the values and goals of the
organizationAccording to Greenberg and Baron (2000), the concept of organizational commitment with regard
to the extent to which an individual identifies himself and his desire to remain in the organization.Organizational
commitment has almost the same emphasis on the individual processes (employees) in identifying himself with
the values, rules and goals of the organization.
III. RESEARCH METHODS
The desk review method (research-based review) by using scientific papers published in the last five
years (2008-2013). The study was conducted with reference books of literature, textbook, paper, and other
legislation required in connection with the problems examined.. Method Is Used Descriptive Quantitative
