This document describes an integrated health system that includes 22 hospitals with 2,800 licensed beds, 180 medical group clinics, and provides care for 822,000 health plan members. It discusses evolving consumer expectations in healthcare, such as wanting empathetic, always-on, empowering, personalized, transparent, simplified, and frictionless experiences from their healthcare providers and plans. The system aims to meet these expectations through safety, quality, excellent patient experience, access, stewardship, and engaged caregivers.
