GAME CONCEPT

INTRODUCTION
• Today we are going to talk to you about our new game concept called The Flying Biscuit. The game
involves an interactive element in which the user has to guide the biscuit across the screen and avoid
obstacles in order to gain more points and compete with friends.

IDEA/CONCEPT
The game concept was based on the popular helicopter and
super turbo pig. These games have obstacles that have to be
avoided to continue. There were other games with more of a
social aspect such as candy crush. So we thought we would
combine the mechanics of candy crush with helicopter and
super turbo pig to make flying Ginger nut.

  • #4 We researched this game by looking at other popular games. We came across a number games that we thought we could improve. We combined a number of our favourite game features. The research was very eye opening in the trends of social games and how many people actually play on a daily basis.
  • #6 The idea for marketing and generating income is to be sponsored by a number of big time biscuit companies. They will have adverts in the game that will encourage people to buy their products which will generate income for the game. We also plan to allow the user to purchase extra lives on the games market place for £0.99. This will allow us to expand the revenue of income. There will also be a free packet of biscuits free when a high score has been reached.
  • #7 The game is based around a biscuit in which the user has to guide and dodge obstacles such as mouths and tea. The user has three lives to attempt to beat the obstacles, if the user uses all three lives they have to wait an hour to regain another three lives. They can also request lives from their friends or purchased lives from the market place a concept based on candy crush saga.
  • #8 To summarise, we have tried and improved a game that has already existed but improved it with social aspects making users interact with friends to get free three lives if the user
