6. Reflection
To start, I showed Bailey the introduction video on how
to work the app Hopscotch. She mentioned a few times that
she did not understand how to work it while watching the
video. When the video was over, she still seemed a little
unsure. I told her to open the app and just try it out and see
what she could do. Before I knew it, she was putting in all
kinds of directions and having a monkey spin around in
circles over and over. She also loved writing her name with
tear drop emojis. When she was done playing and I was
about to leave, Bailey went ask her mom for the password
to the App Store to download Hopscotch on her iPad. That
made me feel really good that she understood it and liked it
enough that she wants to continue to play on Hopscotch to
create games.
