This document summarizes the current state of the Dutch Art & Architecture Thesaurus (AAT-Ned). It notes that the AAT-Ned contains 63,500 terms translating over 32,000 concepts from the 2007 English AAT, while the English AAT now contains over 131,000 terms translating 34,000 concepts from its 2012 version. It also reports that the AAT-Ned saw over 18,000 visits and 170,000 pageviews in 2012. However, updating the AAT-Ned to synchronize with changes to the English AAT has proven difficult due to database structure issues. Plans are outlined to redesign the thesaurus database and interface to allow easier future updates according to the SKOS
