A journey for becoming parents
of a child is different for each
couple after a few months or
years of tying the knot. Some
couples have children without
having a plan while some have to
struggle a lot even after making a
plan for having a child. They
don’t have conception even after
having unprotected and timed
sexual intercourse for more than
6 or 12 months.

After interacting with couples and going
through the results of a few recommended
tests & screenings, doctors confirm infertility or
genetic causes. And they suggest the best and
most effective treatment options. IVF or in vitro
fertilisation is one of them.

 Make staying healthy & fit as your mantra
 Always have a balanced meal as your breakfast, lunch,
supper, and dinner
 Include fresh and seasonal fruits, whole grains, leafy &
green vegetables, nuts, etc.
 Maintain a healthy body weight. Avoid being
underweight or overweight. A BMI of 30 could create
many complications and affect the success of your
IVF cycle
 Do light to moderate workouts at least for 30 minutes
a day or 150 minutes a week
 Avoid performing exercises of high intensity
 Quit smoking
 Say NO to alcoholic beverages or limit its intake
 Stay a safe distance from stress, anxiety, and
depression. Do deep breathing or meditate to lower
your stress level
 Avoid having caffeinated drinks or take only a cup a
day

7. Keep your efforts for being healthy & fit with a balanced
diet every time going on
Have a sound sleep every night
Comprehend the process, follow your doctor’s
instructions and never give up the treatment until your
doctor advise you to leave it
Stay hydrated all the time by drinking a lot of water and
fluids
Stay away from smoking and drinking
Keep the reduced intake of caffeinated drinks going on
Never take any medication without consulting your
doctor
Avoid eating fish during the treatment due to the rich
content of mercury that could be harmful to you
Avoid the exposure of extreme heat or radiation
Keep working out
Be always in contact with your doctor and state
whatever you feel or notice
