The father has lost faith in The City School over the past 10 years. When he first enrolled his niece, the school had strong leadership and teaching, but now his sons have shown little academic or personal progress. His youngest son was placed in nursery against the father's wishes and is given worksheets he cannot understand instead of proper preparation, showing a lack of support. The father is considering removing his children and losing faith in the school's ability to improve.

1. The declining Standard of the City School
About 10 years ago when I use to interact with the school for my niece I was very impressed by the
headship, teaching staff, and the school culture. I wanted my own children to attend the same school
now, when my own children are attending this school I don’t see that environment anymore. I wonder
if it is being headed by the same management or not. I keep bringing the concerns to the school
management and have not seen any progress. The only option I am seriously planning on, to take my
children out and have them go to some other institution better than The City School.
My son Abbas Raza is in Junior II when I registered him to Kindergarten III, we were very happy to see
his progress the interest and contribution of the school Head and the School counselor, When he
moved forward to Junior I and Junior II, we don’t see any progress in him academically or even in his
personality.
I had my two sons registered in Kindergarten II this year, my youngest son Hussain Raza was facing some
speech delay and we thought he might be able to do better in the playgroup, but after assessment and
interview the Head suggested that he should attend the Nursery and that he would cope up fine. Ever
since he is there we feel not a slightest progress in him the teachers are making him do the worksheets
which makes no sense to him he is being handed the worksheets for home which he has no idea about.
That is how they start working on the child? Who has no prior idea of what the letters and numbers are?
The preparation to move him to this advance stage has been totally missed out. I have no idea how to
force my child to read and write Was it my job even when I registered him in a well reputed school ? I
have no faith in their words when they say that my child will improve. Should I take my children out or
believe them. I am doubtful and lost my faith in the city school.
