The Common Characteristic Of Entrepreneurs Essay
A.There are five common characteristic to both types of entrepreneurs.
First core characteristic is being an innovator, in here an entrepreneur introduces new ideas, products or methods that will be beneficial and will give
entrepreneurial change to both organisation and the people they serve. An example of this withinAuckland City Mission is that, they continue to strive
hard to foster innovation based on research and practical experience of clients and knowledge from staff and other agencies in order to be effective.
Second and third core characteristics are being committed and dedicated, simply it is the psychological attachment to the organisation. It is acting
boldly without being limited by resources currently in hand. An example of this within the organisation is when one of the assessment professionals
takes time to talk thoroughly with the person's situation in depth – to really try to understand what is going on for them without any restraints or
hesitations.
Fourth and fifth core characteristic are being a leader and initiative taker, it is setting and defining the organisational goal, creating plans and
organising people to achieve the goals through the execution of plans with acceptance for risks of failure. In here the mission offers hope to families
and individuals who may be suffering from impermanent set – back or long term problem that needs and expert attention.
A.)There are five difference in characteristic in both organisation:

Characteristics of Research Problems
A research problem is a statement that provides the context for a research study. As stated by Brewer & Hughes, (2005) "Research problems indicate
gaps in the scope or the certainty of our knowledge (Brewer & Hughes, 2005, p. 39)." They point to problematic phenomena, observed events that are
puzzling in terms of our currently accepted ideas, or current ideas that are challenged by new hypotheses (Dissertation101 Mentoring Services, 2013).

Once the data has been collected, the researcher must have a way to communicate the results. The data must be organized in a way that it merges the
existing data with the new data to determine the quality based on the guidelines for collecting the data. Components of a Statement of Research Problem
Essentially, the problem statement provides the basis for the research. The statement of the research problem reflects the general concern that leads to
the specific problem and must be factual and clearly stated. Accordingly, it must be a brief precise description, which sets the premise for the problem
to be studied. It distinguishes and states the underlying problems, if any and outlines the hypotheses, along with the research questions
(Dissertation101 Mentoring Services, 2013).
Precise, factual and clearly stated. Researcher seek to answer a question or to find a solution to a problem. Providing factual information to introduce
the problem will change the perspective of what people think or know about the problem. As well the research should speak to the literature that is
prevalent and to what is missing from this literature. Therefore, a statement of the problem needs to be precisely stated in one or two sentences that
outlines the problem of the research. The statement of the problem should also address the question (Levy & Ellis, 2008). As stated by Levy and Ellis,

Characteristics Of Myself Essay
I was born fourteen years ago and I have acquired many qualities in those fourteen years. One is I like to see myself as a very relatable person who
many people can talk to. Many of my friends tell me that I am very relatable and a very honest person who says their honest opinion, which I can
only agree with. Another word I hear a lot from my friends is that I am a chill, also known as relaxed or easy going. Listening to my friends is
another good quality I believe I have. I can always sense when something isn't right. I believe I am also fairly good at judging people's character, so
I think in some way that saves me from hanging out with bad people and also knowing which ones are the good ones. Adapting is another thing I
am good at because of the many times I have moved. That also helps me get good at making friends all kinds of places, even in different countries.
I get told a lot that I have a lot of friends and honestly I'm not totally sure how I have become friends with so many people. But I am not
complaining. Most of my friends also say I am trustworthy and cool. Another thing I get told a lot is that I am hilarious. I mean I can just say the
simplest things and my friends will laugh. All of these qualities are qualities that I like about myself but I also feel that many of my friends have the
same traits. I like to hangout around people who remind me of myself. Most of my friends are funny and kind. They are all trustworthy and of course
very cool. My friends are

Personal Characteristics Essay
There are many personal characteristics that can affect a person as an individual and his professional success, namely openness, ability to learn and
adapt etc. These personal characteristics can sometimes make a person successful and sometimes doesn't. As I spend more and more time as a
professional, I perceive that there are few characteristics that are essential for professional success: namely ambitious, creative and adaptable. These
characteristics come out in many different ways. Have you set your goals? Have you decided the path you have to take to pursue your goal? What
are the sacrifices you can do to achieve your ambition? How much can you think out of the box to resolve a particular issue or bring new idea to the
table? How...show more content...
This characteristic will motivate me to grow better in my future career as well. I believe that few people have a strong inner feeling that pushes them
to think out of the box to identify as issue and find the solution. Personally, I always try to find the most creative solution and do not give up until I get
it. Sometime this energy is contagious on to next. I always search for the missing links and fine–tune my thoughts until I reach a point that works. This
creativity has steadily driven my ambitions through the organization. Today the world is changing so rapidly and the way it has changed in last few
decades, it hasn't changed in last few hundred years. So adaptability has become the need of the hour. I believe that adaptability is the most important
quality of all, particularly if one is in technology industry. There have been times when this adaptability has changed the nomenclature of day and night
but it has also given me rewards at the appropriate times. Adaptability, personally, has created a far–reaching international outlook and I was able to
spend time, living outside my country of origin, working for UK retails giants and this stay not only diversified my work experience but also my
cultural experience. It has improved my exposure to diverse situations with increasing levels of complexity and this exposure has increased my
eagerness for new challenges. It has instigated a feeling in me that there

Characteristics Of The English Language
Other grammatical changes in Middle English which have been attributed to the Norman invasion are the use of who as a relative pronoun, the
replacement of weorГѕan with be to express passive voice, the periphrastic do and the case levelling of you. However, Gramley (2012) points out that
those changes have not been proven conclusively to be connected to the Norman Conquest. Furthermore, he suggests that the changes concerning
inflection might have been initiated by the Viking invasion already, and Bradley (2013) points out, that "most of the inflectional languages of which
the history is known have, to a greater or lesser extent, undergone the same kind of change" as English. Accordingly, Modern High German is not as
complicated as Old High German.
The influence of the French language becomes most obvious when one looks at the English vocabulary. No other language has had a bigger
influence on the English lexicon. Baugh & Cable (2013) suggest a division into two periods of borrowing: one before 1250 and one after. The first
period was characterized by the relationship between French nobility and common English people; words like baron, servant or messenger were
introduced, as well as a great number of words associated with religion. After the Battle of Hastings a great number of English noblemen had died, and
William replaced them with Frenchmen. In a similar fashion, Normans came to occupy the higher positions in the clergy. The new Norman aristocracy

Organizational behavior is an essential element in every organization. The organizations in the world are differ according to their culture which means
that the values applied in each organization are differ across cultures.
Individualism and collectivism are the two most commonly mentioned cross–cultural value. Individualism can be defined as the extent to which a
person values independence and personal uniqueness. Highly individualist people value personal freedom, self sufficiency, control over their own
lives, and appreciation of the unique qualities that distinguish them from others. The main characteristics of individualism are 1) identity is based on
the individual 2) Tasks prevail over relationships 3) speaking one's mind is a sign of honesty.
Whereas collectivism is the extent to which people value duty to groups to which they belong and to group harmony. Highly collectivist people defined
themselves by their group membership and value harmonious relationship within the group. The main characteristics of collectivism are 1) identity is
based on the group to which one belongs 2) relationships prevail over tasks 3) direct confrontations should be avoided.

Essay On Character Traits
There are many character traits that make someone successful in life. Some traits you are born with, other traits are mindsets. There are a few
character traits that coaches, teachers, bosses, or any other significant figure looks for in particular. One of the most important character traits is a
hard–working attitude. You aren't born with a hard–working attitude. It is a mindset. You may not be the best employee, but an employer will be more
willing to work with someone that works hard than someone that can do the job but is lazy. Although I am not the best at everything, I give 100%
effort in everything that I do and believe that working hard is the most important trait a person can possess. As a child, the phrase, "Do your best," was

I knew that in order to be starting, I needed to be the hardest worker on the team. With all my hard work came a starting position. The biggest
lesson that my father taught me was in seventh grade. It was a normal day of basketball practice and we were scrimmaging. During a particular
play, I ran the wrong route. He made me run around the gym for forgetting what to do. I decided that I was too tired to sprint around the gym.
Because of my decision, he chose to kick me out of practice. I knew at that point that I could take no breaks. While I was taking breaks, other
people were getting better. Chances to improve were very slim, so I needed to take advantage of them whenever possible. Although this was a very
inconvenient way for me to learn this lesson, he definitely got his point across and I now work hard every chance that I get. Everyone wants to have
a successful career. The first step to a successful career is to obtain the job that you want. Obviously you need the education level for this occupation,
but what else is going to give you a leg up on the competition? As a Sophomore in high school, I had the opportunity to job shadow a manager of
engineers at an engineering firm. One of his responsibilities was going through the hiring process. As a prospective future employee, I was curious as
to what he looked for most in an employee. He did not say education. He did not say experience. He said that they needed a hard working

Personal Essay : My Personal Qualities
My Personal Qualities
Over the course, I have learned that all people are unique and have their own personal traits and qualities. One person does not just simply fall into
one category, but various categories. What is beautiful about all of us is that we all have diverse personalities, traits and qualities. I have learned that
we should be proud of and embrace these unique qualities of ours.
As a perfectionist, I like to present my things beautifully and creatively, and it is clearly seen on my collage. I appreciate beautiful things and this is
why I got beauty/aesthetics as one of my highest totals on the values survey. On my collage, I put a picture of a microscope, with the circular flask and

I know and I have been told that I am a kind and sympathetic person, because I love to help people and put a smile on their faces. Even when someone
is being rude, I try to "kill them with kindness" in return. I used the quote: "Beauty isn't about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind, a
pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul". I chose to use this quote because I adore it and I go by it. What matters most is in the inside, not
on the outside. I think people sometimes, even me, get too caught up and try too hard to look beautiful, but they don't focus on personality.
A) I expected to get artistic, creative and investigative as my results on surveys that I took, because I already knew I had these traits as a part of my
personality. However, the results from mylearning styles survey were a little surprising to me. I got visual as my highest total score, while kinesthetic
and auditory were almost balanced out scores. The reason why I was a little surprised was that last year, I took a survey to figure out my learning
style, and I got both auditory and visual learner. The results have their little differences, but that shows people do change over time. Learning styles can
be learned and strengthened.
I learned plenty of things from my results. My values–which I didn't see clearly–are now clear, and I found out the little unique things that make up my
personality. From my personality survey, I am mostly artistic,

Characteristics Of Myself Essay
We, as human beings, have many characteristics and traits that we view of our self positively; however, some traits do change due to our insecurity of
other individual judgments which may lead to the outcome of others viewing us differently. This report will briefly explain the way I see myself
portray to the society and how other majority individuals see the individual I truly am.
The qualities I consider that I do not have for my personality is I am not creative, confident, compulsive, curious, humorous and selfish. This shows
that I am an individual who is selfless or inquisitive. Although, I am not confident nor am I compulsive or humorous this demonstrates I am
introverted from the society and would like to be hidden in the dark when it comes to presentations or meeting new strangers. I am not proud of this
since I realized I care way too much about what others have their opinions on me. If I were confident and cared less about what others thought about
me, I would have the traits as compulsive, confident, humorous and much more. In addition, this is one of the reasons why others think I am shy at
times due to my lack of confidence. Therefore, I do have to work on putting myself out there to the society which will slowly happen.
I believe that I am friendly, kind, reliable, hardworking, punctual, and ambitious. Ever since I was a child, my parents brought good manners and
positive moral teachings into me. One of the lessons they taught and I must obey is that I

School Effectiveness Characteristics During my observation, at my second school, I was able to notice four different characteristics of an effective
school. These characteristics are High Expectations, Emphasis on Basic Skills, Orderly School Environment, and Frequent Systematic Evaluation
of Student Learning. Out of all seven of the characteristics, these were the four that stuck out more to me. High Expectations is when the teacher
believes that their students have the ability to do great things, especially doing well in school. The students know what is expected of them. They
know to be quiet and do their homework in manner that isn't disruptive. These students have set goals for the year and even longer. The school that
I observed, the students said that they plan getting good grades on their tests for that Friday. If the students didn't do so well, they would kind of
sad because they worked hard. Also, they know that if the entire class were to get all A's on their tests, they would get a pizza party. This is when
the kids are also determined because they could have a break in class for a little while and have pizza party while getting grades. It helps them strive
for better grades, which they know. The two characteristics that I noticed next was Emphasis on Basic Skills and Frequent Systematic Evaluation of
Student Learning. These two characteristics are very similar but different, too. While I was at the school, the teacher of the class actually showed me that

Various researchers have come up with definitions of what a good teacher is and does, including definitions of good maths teachers in particular. For
example, Pietila (2003) argued a good mathematics teacher needs to have an adequate knowledge of mathematics, an adequate knowledge of
mathematics teaching and learning, additional pedagogical knowledge of how to organise successful learning situations, flexible beliefs and
conceptions about mathematics, and a positive attitude towards learning and teaching their subject. Pietila also states that good teaching happens when
a mathematics teacher "gets pupils to understand the topics presented and to be enthusiastic about mathematics" (, p. 12). Stronge (2007) also compiled
a list of the characteristics of an effective mathematics teacher. According to Stronge, a good and/or effective teacher cares about students and
demonstrates this through his/her actions; recognises that personalities, learning styles and needs in the classroom can be complex; works to improve
the teaching profession as a whole by taking leadership opportunities and clearly communicates both the content matter and tasks to be undertaken
associated with teaching and learning). Stronge states that these characteristics can be used to frame effective teacher checklists that have the
following categories that can be used to define what an effective teacher is and does: (a) the teacher as an individual, (b) teacher preparation, (c)

Present moment awareness requires the therapist to take note of the elements that make up each experience, such as sensations, thoughts and feelings.
Acknowledgment of these experiences without feeling the need to react or fix anything is critical.
The Golden Triad The Golden Triad, or "therapeutic triad", is one invaluable concept of effective counseling characteristics and lays down a solid
benchmark for counselor's to emulate and implement. The Golden Triad consists of the high display of warmth, genuineness, and empathy that
effective counselors exude with their clients. The therapist's persuasiveness, level of attention, understanding, support and encouragement all impact
the results of the therapy with the client. It's not just therapist's ability to foster a positive relationship with the client, but specific needs and
expectations for improvement must be met for the client (Clinton, 2002, p. 185). Frequently, genuine responses require more self–reflection and
mindful attention. Self–reflection promotes awareness of feelings and knowing the appropriate moment to convey them to a client.
Cultivating Empathy and Compassion The majority of counselors who ascribe to the values of holistic humanistic or existential approaches are less
likely to avoid experiencing compassion and empathy as they enter and experience their client's worldview, so that they can become vulnerable and
understand how he/she experiences their

Short Story Characteristics Essay
Short Story Characteristics
The short story is a concise form of narrative prose that is usually simpler and more direct compared to longer works of fiction such as novels.
Therefore, because of their short length, short stories rely on many forms of literary devices to convey the idea of a uniform theme seen throughout the
script. This theme is illustrated by using characteristics that are developed throughout the story such as, plot, setting and characters. The three main
components are developed throughout the story in order to guide the reader to the underlying theme, which is necessary as a short story lacking a theme
also lacks meaning or purpose.
The short story "Sonny's Blues" by James Baldwin uses characterization to...show more content...
The combination of the protagonist's insanity and the setting of the nursery with yellow wallpaper identify a theme of imprisonment of females in a
domestic world. The anonymous wife is taken by her husband to a country mansion to recover from a state of hysteria. The narrator then takes it upon
herself to actively study and decode the wallpaper, and through her downward spiral into insanity she untangles its confused pattern to reveal a woman
trapped in the depths of the chaotic outlines. As time passes the narrator begins to relate to this encaged woman and believes that she too is trapped
within the wallpaper. During the last few nights the narrator tears down the wallpaper in an attempt to escape from her cage. The use of the yellow
wallpaper as a symbolic gesture to the entrapment of women shows how setting can directly relate to the theme of a short story.
Plot can also be used as a direct representation of the theme in a short story. Plot is the combination of setting, characters, and the series of events
that allow the story to progress. The idea of a unifying event that forces a child into the adult world is identified, by analysis of the plot, as the theme
of Alice Munro's "Royal Beatings". The story progresses by a series of flashbacks through Rose, the protagonist's, life developing the

Characteristics Of An Ideal Society

POLSC Exam 2
An ideal society is considered to be a utopian society, defined as a society where everything is as good as it possibly can be for everyone living in that
society. However this type of society has never existed before and continues to be a dream that remains locked up in our minds. Three philosophers
who seem to propose an ideal just society are John Rawls, Karl Marx and Milton Friedman. I will be explaining what my vision of an ideal society is
and what are the basis and fundamental principles that Rawls, Marx and Friedman use in order to obtain a just society.
My utopian society consists of three important characteristics, these characteristics are: justice (equality), economic security, and world peace.
These characteristics are essential to creating my ideal society. The reason why I believe these characteristics are important is because justice
provides equality to all people living in the society. The idea of justice also allows everyone to agree on which actions or words are considered just
or unjust. Economic security establishes a strong government that provides welfare and security to all people living in the society. And lastly world
peace allows for the people to live in the society without any internal or external fear, such as war and/or crime.
One philosopher who believes in a just society is John Rawls. Rawls writes, "For us the primary subject of justice is the basic structure of society, or

When it comes to writing, it is such a complex task. The writer has to make sure they are using grammatically correct English, but also the tone that the
individual is writing to the audience. Academic and non–academic writing are the essentials when it comes to determining the tone that the author is
using. Academic writing is a formal type of writing, mainly used by professionals. This type of writing is typically used to write a research paper or an
essay. Non–academic writing is more of a casual writing, can often contain slang and is typically biased. It is not usually directed to an academic or
scholarly audience. These two types of writing differ in tone and in perspective. There are so many characteristics of formal writing style that are
important to consider when it comes to writing. The voice that the author portrays to the audience. The tone that the author uses, it can either be
formal or informal. The tone of the author impacts a lot on the paper he's writing, because that's how he expresses the attitude of his writing. The
language is another essential factor when it comes to writing a paper. Is the author's language too complex? Or is it too simple? The language on a
paper will determine if the author's goal was achieved. The author's goal is to make the audience understand while he expresses his point of view. Their
word choice goes along with the author's goal. If the audience can't understand the author because his word choice is too technical, then the

Personal Values and Ethics Essay
Personal Values and Ethic Standards
Values and ethics are one of the most important characteristic of an individual. They basically define who we are and what we believe. There are many
factors that determine our values and ethics. Culture, religion, and many other factors affect our beliefs. Many times are values and ethics can clash with
different people who hold different views and beliefs. This doesn't mean our values or ethics are wrong it just means we think differently than others.
Most people have a good sense of ethics and values. Knowing between right and wrong is a good foundation to practicing good ethics and morals.
How we develop ethics and values starts from the time we are born and mostly developed by the people were...show more content...
I find this true still today. I remember most of my teachers working hard to help me do well in school. They showed a passion that seems to lack in
teachers today. My teachers helped me develop good work habits and studying hard to obtain good grades. I figured that if they spent that much
effort with me I could do my part and work hard to finish my work. This habit has stayed with me through out my life so far. I was fortunate enough
to have a family, extended family, and teachers who took the time to teach good ethics and values. Without their guidance I don't know how I would
be today, it is hard to say but I could be the same or I could be very different.
Today I used the basic principles I was taught and learned as a child to make choices and judgments today. In the decision making process I use
today I still think about my values and ethics. First I try to have all of the information possible about any decision making that I need to do. Having
all of the information is critical to making a proper choice. I listen to others points of views and try to understand them and respect them. Then like I
learned earlier in life, is this decision ethical and moral according to me. Will this decision cause harm to others? Are there legal implications to this
decision? Is this decision within policy guidelines? There are many factors that affect my decision making process but they are based on my personal
values and

There is one experience really impress me. When I was doing assignment 2 of STD2, the process went very well. But just only one day left before

but it could take hundreds of peoples' life and cause huge financial loss in my future career. So I chose to scarify my sleeping time and did all what
I can do to fix the problem. At last I finished it and got a good mark. But it is nothing compared to my decision to keep people safe and protect their

part–time job is not necessary since I consume not much. And the language does not need to learn so hard since communication has not bothered

shop I work for. They are prizes for my success of characteristics development. I feel so happy to be able to get and improve these

Characteristics Of A Good Student Essay
A good student is someone who constantly tries to do the right thing and makes education an important priority. Being a good student in school is an
excellent start on having a successful future. Motivation is the key to their success. There are many qualities to be considered a good student. Three
of the most important qualities are maintaining good grades, having excellent behavior, and managing your time wisely. Trying to maintain good
grades are very important when in school. Having grades like "A's" and "B's" for example will result in having many educational opportunities and
rewards. Colleges, job companies, or scholarship committees will review grades and other information on a school transcript to see if that student is
eligible and satisfies the requirements needed. GPA stands forgrade point average, so the higher the grade, the higher the GPA will climb up. This
results in getting more money for college if the grade point average is an excellent score. There are some events and programs that reward students
for having high and excellent grades. The National Honor Society is one of those programs. In order for a student's grade to stay on top, completing
school assignments are an essential way to do so. It's not possible to get through or even pass a class without completing assignments. Usually, the
class expectations will say, for example; quizzes are twenty–five percent, homework or classwork is fifteen percent, and tests are forty percent when it

Essay on Common Traits of Entrepreneurs
In the past few years, there has a lot of attention paid to the concept of entrepreneurship; however, many still struggle to find the exact meaning of what
an entrepreneur is and how he is different from other regular business–owners. This query has gotten people to come up with different definitions and
studies in the search of a final answer and, even though there is still a debate for a complete designation accepted by all, now there are certain traits
that are recognized by everyone as basics for being an entrepreneur.
According to free–lance writer and expert in economic issues Jeanne Holden:

Then, they need dedication to make these ideas come true, even if is necessary for them to work twenty–four hours a day seven days a week to get
everything started; entrepreneurs completely devote to their creations, unlike most managers who just work to earn a salary without giving their best
for their companies or even caring at all for them.
Once they have their ideas clear and their goals set, entrepreneurs require determination to never give up even when things seem harder than what they
expected; their focus is always on achieving their objectives and succeeding. This determination needs to be in conjunction with flexibility, because any
good entrepreneur must understand the importance of adaption in the changing world and business environment; since they compete with already
established companies they must be open for change and improvement.
Later on, there are two characteristics that help entrepreneurs establish proper relationships with others in order to run a successful enterprise, these
are leadership and passion. The first enables entrepreneurs to direct, influence and inspire others to give the best of them to work to accomplish the
objectives set by them, whether these others are employees or peers. And in order to be good leaders, entrepreneurs must have that passion that makes
them feel confident about a new idea and keeps them focus on it; this passion is also what makes

The Common Characteristic Of Entrepreneurs Essay

  • 1. The Common Characteristic Of Entrepreneurs Essay A.There are five common characteristic to both types of entrepreneurs. First core characteristic is being an innovator, in here an entrepreneur introduces new ideas, products or methods that will be beneficial and will give entrepreneurial change to both organisation and the people they serve. An example of this withinAuckland City Mission is that, they continue to strive hard to foster innovation based on research and practical experience of clients and knowledge from staff and other agencies in order to be effective. Second and third core characteristics are being committed and dedicated, simply it is the psychological attachment to the organisation. It is acting boldly without being limited by resources currently in hand. An example of this within the organisation is when one of the assessment professionals takes time to talk thoroughly with the person's situation in depth – to really try to understand what is going on for them without any restraints or hesitations. Fourth and fifth core characteristic are being a leader and initiative taker, it is setting and defining the organisational goal, creating plans and organising people to achieve the goals through the execution of plans with acceptance for risks of failure. In here the mission offers hope to families and individuals who may be suffering from impermanent set – back or long term problem that needs and expert attention. Essay on Characteristics of Research Characteristics of Research Problems Activity 3 Submitted to Northcentral University School of Education in Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements of 7002–8 Doctoral Research in Education Prescott Valley, Arizona October 2013 Characteristics of Research Problems A research problem is a statement that provides the context for a research study. As stated by Brewer & Hughes, (2005) "Research problems indicate gaps in the scope or the certainty of our knowledge (Brewer & Hughes, 2005, p. 39)." They point to problematic phenomena, observed events that are puzzling in terms of our currently accepted ideas, or current ideas that are challenged by new hypotheses (Dissertation101 Mentoring Services, 2013). The...show more content... Once the data has been collected, the researcher must have a way to communicate the results. The data must be organized in a way that it merges the existing data with the new data to determine the quality based on the guidelines for collecting the data. Components of a Statement of Research Problem Essentially, the problem statement provides the basis for the research. The statement of the research problem reflects the general concern that leads to the specific problem and must be factual and clearly stated. Accordingly, it must be a brief precise description, which sets the premise for the problem to be studied. It distinguishes and states the underlying problems, if any and outlines the hypotheses, along with the research questions (Dissertation101 Mentoring Services, 2013). Precise, factual and clearly stated. Researcher seek to answer a question or to find a solution to a problem. Providing factual information to introduce the problem will change the perspective of what people think or know about the problem. As well the research should speak to the literature that is prevalent and to what is missing from this literature. Therefore, a statement of the problem needs to be precisely stated in one or two sentences that

  • 4. Characteristics Of Myself Essay I was born fourteen years ago and I have acquired many qualities in those fourteen years. One is I like to see myself as a very relatable person who many people can talk to. Many of my friends tell me that I am very relatable and a very honest person who says their honest opinion, which I can only agree with. Another word I hear a lot from my friends is that I am a chill, also known as relaxed or easy going. Listening to my friends is another good quality I believe I have. I can always sense when something isn't right. I believe I am also fairly good at judging people's character, so I think in some way that saves me from hanging out with bad people and also knowing which ones are the good ones. Adapting is another thing I am good at because of the many times I have moved. That also helps me get good at making friends all kinds of places, even in different countries. I get told a lot that I have a lot of friends and honestly I'm not totally sure how I have become friends with so many people. But I am not complaining. Most of my friends also say I am trustworthy and cool. Another thing I get told a lot is that I am hilarious. I mean I can just say the simplest things and my friends will laugh. All of these qualities are qualities that I like about myself but I also feel that many of my friends have the same traits. I like to hangout around people who remind me of myself. Most of my friends are funny and kind. They are all trustworthy and of course very cool. My friends are Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Personal Characteristics Essay There are many personal characteristics that can affect a person as an individual and his professional success, namely openness, ability to learn and adapt etc. These personal characteristics can sometimes make a person successful and sometimes doesn't. As I spend more and more time as a professional, I perceive that there are few characteristics that are essential for professional success: namely ambitious, creative and adaptable. These characteristics come out in many different ways. Have you set your goals? Have you decided the path you have to take to pursue your goal? What are the sacrifices you can do to achieve your ambition? How much can you think out of the box to resolve a particular issue or bring new idea to the table? How...show more content... This characteristic will motivate me to grow better in my future career as well. I believe that few people have a strong inner feeling that pushes them to think out of the box to identify as issue and find the solution. Personally, I always try to find the most creative solution and do not give up until I get it. Sometime this energy is contagious on to next. I always search for the missing links and fine–tune my thoughts until I reach a point that works. This creativity has steadily driven my ambitions through the organization. Today the world is changing so rapidly and the way it has changed in last few decades, it hasn't changed in last few hundred years. So adaptability has become the need of the hour. I believe that adaptability is the most important quality of all, particularly if one is in technology industry. There have been times when this adaptability has changed the nomenclature of day and night but it has also given me rewards at the appropriate times. Adaptability, personally, has created a far–reaching international outlook and I was able to spend time, living outside my country of origin, working for UK retails giants and this stay not only diversified my work experience but also my cultural experience. It has improved my exposure to diverse situations with increasing levels of complexity and this exposure has increased my eagerness for new challenges. It has instigated a feeling in me that there Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Characteristics Of The English Language Other grammatical changes in Middle English which have been attributed to the Norman invasion are the use of who as a relative pronoun, the replacement of weorГѕan with be to express passive voice, the periphrastic do and the case levelling of you. However, Gramley (2012) points out that those changes have not been proven conclusively to be connected to the Norman Conquest. Furthermore, he suggests that the changes concerning inflection might have been initiated by the Viking invasion already, and Bradley (2013) points out, that "most of the inflectional languages of which the history is known have, to a greater or lesser extent, undergone the same kind of change" as English. Accordingly, Modern High German is not as complicated as Old High German. The influence of the French language becomes most obvious when one looks at the English vocabulary. No other language has had a bigger influence on the English lexicon. Baugh & Cable (2013) suggest a division into two periods of borrowing: one before 1250 and one after. The first period was characterized by the relationship between French nobility and common English people; words like baron, servant or messenger were introduced, as well as a great number of words associated with religion. After the Battle of Hastings a great number of English noblemen had died, and William replaced them with Frenchmen. In a similar fashion, Normans came to occupy the higher positions in the clergy. There are a few character traits that coaches, teachers, bosses, or any other significant figure looks for in particular. One of the most important character traits is a hard–working attitude. You aren't born with a hard–working attitude. It is a mindset. You may not be the best employee, but an employer will be more willing to work with someone that works hard than someone that can do the job but is lazy. The biggest lesson that my father taught me was in seventh grade. It was a normal day of basketball practice and we were scrimmaging. During a particular play, I ran the wrong route. He made me run around the gym for forgetting what to do. I decided that I was too tired to sprint around the gym. Because of my decision, he chose to kick me out of practice. I knew at that point that I could take no breaks. While I was taking breaks, other people were getting better. Chances to improve were very slim, so I needed to take advantage of them whenever possible. Although this was a very inconvenient way for me to learn this lesson, he definitely got his point across and I now work hard every chance that I get. Everyone wants to have a successful career. The first step to a successful career is to obtain the job that you want. Obviously you need the education level for this occupation, but what else is going to give you a leg up on the competition? As a Sophomore in high school, I had the opportunity to job shadow a manager of engineers at an engineering firm. One of his responsibilities was going through the hiring process. As a prospective future employee, I was curious as to what he looked for most in an employee. He did not say education. He did not say experience. One person does not just simply fall into one category, but various categories. What is beautiful about all of us is that we all have diverse personalities, traits and qualities. I have learned that we should be proud of and embrace these unique qualities of ours. As a perfectionist, I like to present my things beautifully and creatively, and it is clearly seen on my collage. Even when someone is being rude, I try to "kill them with kindness" in return. I used the quote: "Beauty isn't about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul". I chose to use this quote because I adore it and I go by it. What matters most is in the inside, not on the outside. I think people sometimes, even me, get too caught up and try too hard to look beautiful, but they don't focus on personality. A) I expected to get artistic, creative and investigative as my results on surveys that I took, because I already knew I had these traits as a part of my personality. However, the results from mylearning styles survey were a little surprising to me. I got visual as my highest total score, while kinesthetic and auditory were almost balanced out scores. The reason why I was a little surprised was that last year, I took a survey to figure out my learning style, and I got both auditory and visual learner. The results have their little differences, but that shows people do change over time. Learning styles can be learned and strengthened. I learned plenty of things from my results. My values–which I didn't see clearly–are now clear, and I found out the little unique things that make up my personality. • 10. Characteristics Of Myself Essay We, as human beings, have many characteristics and traits that we view of our self positively; however, some traits do change due to our insecurity of other individual judgments which may lead to the outcome of others viewing us differently. This report will briefly explain the way I see myself portray to the society and how other majority individuals see the individual I truly am. The qualities I consider that I do not have for my personality is I am not creative, confident, compulsive, curious, humorous and selfish. This shows that I am an individual who is selfless or inquisitive. Although, I am not confident nor am I compulsive or humorous this demonstrates I am introverted from the society and would like to be hidden in the dark when it comes to presentations or meeting new strangers. I am not proud of this since I realized I care way too much about what others have their opinions on me. If I were confident and cared less about what others thought about me, I would have the traits as compulsive, confident, humorous and much more. In addition, this is one of the reasons why others think I am shy at times due to my lack of confidence. Therefore, I do have to work on putting myself out there to the society which will slowly happen. I believe that I am friendly, kind, reliable, hardworking, punctual, and ambitious. Ever since I was a child, my parents brought good manners and positive moral teachings into me. One of the lessons they taught and I must obey is that I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. School Effectiveness Characteristics During my observation, at my second school, I was able to notice four different characteristics of an effective school. These characteristics are High Expectations, Emphasis on Basic Skills, Orderly School Environment, and Frequent Systematic Evaluation of Student Learning. Out of all seven of the characteristics, these were the four that stuck out more to me. High Expectations is when the teacher believes that their students have the ability to do great things, especially doing well in school. The students know what is expected of them. They know to be quiet and do their homework in manner that isn't disruptive. These students have set goals for the year and even longer. The school that I observed, the students said that they plan getting good grades on their tests for that Friday. If the students didn't do so well, they would kind of sad because they worked hard. Also, they know that if the entire class were to get all A's on their tests, they would get a pizza party. This is when the kids are also determined because they could have a break in class for a little while and have pizza party while getting grades. It helps them strive for better grades, which they know. The two characteristics that I noticed next was Emphasis on Basic Skills and Frequent Systematic Evaluation of Student Learning. These two characteristics are very similar but different, too. While I was at the school, the teacher of the class actually showed me that Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Various researchers have come up with definitions of what a good teacher is and does, including definitions of good maths teachers in particular. For example, Pietila (2003) argued a good mathematics teacher needs to have an adequate knowledge of mathematics, an adequate knowledge of mathematics teaching and learning, additional pedagogical knowledge of how to organise successful learning situations, flexible beliefs and conceptions about mathematics, and a positive attitude towards learning and teaching their subject. Pietila also states that good teaching happens when a mathematics teacher "gets pupils to understand the topics presented and to be enthusiastic about mathematics" (, p. 12). Stronge (2007) also compiled a list of the characteristics of an effective mathematics teacher. According to Stronge, a good and/or effective teacher cares about students and demonstrates this through his/her actions; recognises that personalities, learning styles and needs in the classroom can be complex; works to improve the teaching profession as a whole by taking leadership opportunities and clearly communicates both the content matter and tasks to be undertaken associated with teaching and learning). Stronge states that these characteristics can be used to frame effective teacher checklists that have the following categories that can be used to define what an effective teacher is and does: (a) the teacher as an individual, (b) teacher preparation, (c) classroom management, and Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I am very grateful to you, Dr. McCarthy, who provided me with the much needed suggested improvements and gave me the tools to complete this research paper. Thanks! Abstract The characteristics that make up an effective counselor are the personality traits that really define the counselor. Several leaders in the field of counseling have listed many of these personality qualities; self confidence, high energy level, optimistic, sense of humor, neutrality, flexibility, emotional stability,...show more content... Present moment awareness requires the therapist to take note of the elements that make up each experience, such as sensations, thoughts and feelings. Acknowledgment of these experiences without feeling the need to react or fix anything is critical. The Golden Triad The Golden Triad, or "therapeutic triad", is one invaluable concept of effective counseling characteristics and lays down a solid benchmark for counselor's to emulate and implement. The Golden Triad consists of the high display of warmth, genuineness, and empathy that effective counselors exude with their clients. The therapist's persuasiveness, level of attention, understanding, support and encouragement all impact the results of the therapy with the client. It's not just therapist's ability to foster a positive relationship with the client, but specific needs and expectations for improvement must be met for the client (Clinton, 2002, p. 185). Frequently, genuine responses require more self–reflection and mindful attention. Self–reflection promotes awareness of feelings and knowing the appropriate moment to convey them to a client. Cultivating Empathy and Compassion The majority of counselors who ascribe to the values of holistic humanistic or existential approaches are less likely to avoid experiencing compassion and empathy as they enter and experience their client's worldview, so that they can become vulnerable and understand how he/she experiences their Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Short Story Characteristics Essay Short Story Characteristics The short story is a concise form of narrative prose that is usually simpler and more direct compared to longer works of fiction such as novels. Therefore, because of their short length, short stories rely on many forms of literary devices to convey the idea of a uniform theme seen throughout the script. This theme is illustrated by using characteristics that are developed throughout the story such as, plot, setting and characters. The three main components are developed throughout the story in order to guide the reader to the underlying theme, which is necessary as a short story lacking a theme also lacks meaning or purpose. The short story "Sonny's Blues" by James Baldwin uses characterization to...show more content... The combination of the protagonist's insanity and the setting of the nursery with yellow wallpaper identify a theme of imprisonment of females in a domestic world. The anonymous wife is taken by her husband to a country mansion to recover from a state of hysteria. The narrator then takes it upon herself to actively study and decode the wallpaper, and through her downward spiral into insanity she untangles its confused pattern to reveal a woman trapped in the depths of the chaotic outlines. As time passes the narrator begins to relate to this encaged woman and believes that she too is trapped within the wallpaper. During the last few nights the narrator tears down the wallpaper in an attempt to escape from her cage. The use of the yellow wallpaper as a symbolic gesture to the entrapment of women shows how setting can directly relate to the theme of a short story. Plot can also be used as a direct representation of the theme in a short story. Plot is the combination of setting, characters, and the series of events that allow the story to progress. The idea of a unifying event that forces a child into the adult world is identified, by analysis of the plot, as the theme of Alice Munro's "Royal Beatings". The story progresses by a series of flashbacks through Rose, the protagonist's, life developing the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. Characteristics Of An Ideal Society Iman Dzhambekova Discussion leader: Tyler Olsen POLSC Exam 2 An ideal society is considered to be a utopian society, defined as a society where everything is as good as it possibly can be for everyone living in that society. However this type of society has never existed before and continues to be a dream that remains locked up in our minds. Three philosophers who seem to propose an ideal just society are John Rawls, Karl Marx and Milton Friedman. I will be explaining what my vision of an ideal society is and what are the basis and fundamental principles that Rawls, Marx and Friedman use in order to obtain a just society. My utopian society consists of three important characteristics, these characteristics are: justice (equality), economic security, and world peace. These characteristics are essential to creating my ideal society. The reason why I believe these characteristics are important is because justice provides equality to all people living in the society. The idea of justice also allows everyone to agree on which actions or words are considered just or unjust. Economic security establishes a strong government that provides welfare and security to all people living in the society. And lastly world peace allows for the people to live in the society without any internal or external fear, such as war and/or crime. One philosopher who believes in a just society is John Rawls. Rawls writes, "For us the primary subject of justice is the basic structure of society, or Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. When it comes to writing, it is such a complex task. The writer has to make sure they are using grammatically correct English, but also the tone that the individual is writing to the audience. Academic and non–academic writing are the essentials when it comes to determining the tone that the author is using. Academic writing is a formal type of writing, mainly used by professionals. This type of writing is typically used to write a research paper or an essay. Non–academic writing is more of a casual writing, can often contain slang and is typically biased. It is not usually directed to an academic or scholarly audience. These two types of writing differ in tone and in perspective. There are so many characteristics of formal writing style that are important to consider when it comes to writing. The voice that the author portrays to the audience. The tone that the author uses, it can either be formal or informal. The tone of the author impacts a lot on the paper he's writing, because that's how he expresses the attitude of his writing. The language is another essential factor when it comes to writing a paper. Is the author's language too complex? Or is it too simple? The language on a paper will determine if the author's goal was achieved. The author's goal is to make the audience understand while he expresses his point of view.
