In this presentation we describe the Brazilian Innovation Portal as an instrument to bring Universities and firms together in the search for collaboration and innovation. Presentation at the euroCRIS Member Meeting at Lisbon. November 2005.

4. November 1995 – A research group from Production Engineering should develop an integrated platform (Stela Platform) for supporting distance learning education regarding the administrative processes. The platform should also be compatible with the national information systems in S&T. UFSC - PPGEP March 1996 – Stela Platform is launched with a surprising perception by the national media. 5. 1997 – CNPq sets us a challenge: to manage the systems that should take car of the 3rd National Pool of R&D Groups. 1998-2004– CNPq hired us to the conception, development and deployment of Lattes Platform (in collaboration with other institutions) Who we are (a little bit of history...)
